Got my first boosted ep today and im loving it.

Its running 188 bhp but it feels like a million to me after switching from the SR

Spec:

Engine:

Lots of receipts including HG change and new tps, cambelt, pcv etc.

Custom made front mounted intercooler kit, stainless steel piping

Custom made 2.5>3" downpipe S/S braced to block

Custom Made 3" twin box S/S system with 3.5" upswept jap style exit tail.

Custom made 5mm thick mild steel long branch compact manifold (virtually indestructable), heatwrapped

Custom made front mounted apexi air filter

Larger aluminium cored Glanza Radiator and JDM 0.9bar cap fitted.

Toytuning hybrid turbo (good for 1.3bar)

HKS adjustable actuator

Custom made oil catch tank with breather

Splitfire ignition leads

NGK iridium heat range 7 plugs

FSE adjustable Fuel pressure regulator with gauge

Emanage blue with ignition and injector harnesses

All air con solenoids and pump/rad removed

TRD clutch (unconfirmed but told by previous owner)

Chassis:

Front oem strut brace

Rear custom made 4 point strut brace ( like oem 4 point brace but stronger)

D2 second gen fully adjustable coilover suspension, 1.5 degree camber and 0.5 degree toe dialled in. (not seized, 800 miles use)

Whiteline fixed rear arb

Custom made rose jointed adjustable panhard rod

15" et32 advan tc alloy wheels, 5mm spacers rear.

195/50/15 toyo T1R tyres all round, brand new 400 miles ago

20 groove front discs, ferodo ds series pads

Hel braided brake lines front

Interior

Recaro reclining drivers seat

Cruise gear knob

HKS Turbo timer

HKS speed limit defencer

Stack boost gauge in holder

Pioneer I pod ready CD head unit

Exterior

OEM, front bumper cut to suit fmic

No. plate relocated to left side using fog light holes for mounting (no extra holes)

Front and rear arches pulled, rear arches rolled.

Cheers for the comments guys, was actually thinking of changing the advans, maybe swap for another set of JDM wheels.

What oil would you recommend to use in the FTE, i used magnatec in the n/a's but apparently thats not a good choice to run with a turbo?

Decent oil dude just check the back of the bottles, if you know what your looking for its easy, carlube oils in motorfactors etc are usually the same specs if not better as like £50 oils, if it meets porsche, VAG group etc specs its good enough for a basic 4pot!

Well looks like the turbos given up the ghost, pulled in to a car park last night and got out and it was chucking out smoke, smelt really oily so I'm guessing it's the seals on turbo.

Really considering selling ATM due to the amount of petrol it's using and now this, anyone got a cheap working hybrid going pm me.

using more petrol ? what dya expect lol its turbo and your probably boosting everywhere cause its a new car lol

my car costs me £35 of V-power to fill up and lasts around 200 miles if i boost all the time/city driving etc

or if i drive nicely occasionally boosting i get around 250+ miles
