Dan507 Posted December 10, 2012 Author Posted December 10, 2012 Good thanks, I was just about to Update this. lolI Bought nice new Jack on Friday It's AWESOMEToday I had a bash at installing the Front Pads. It's the first time I have changed pads and found it really easy so I'm quite happy with that.I Also thought i'd try the Enkei's on the new ride hight. To say the least it's pretty disappointing. I'll have to sort that out. Quote
ryan lang Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 you know what they say about wheel gap being like a vagina ;) haha Quote
Dan507 Posted December 10, 2012 Author Posted December 10, 2012 Looks like a Horse has Raped my car. Quote
Dan507 Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 So, I bonded in my windows today, a pretty painless job. I was just a bit lucky a few of my Mates turned up to give a helping hand.Pretty happy how they turned out. I used sikaflex which was pretty easy to use but i can see it taking a few days to dry due to the cold weather. In other news, it's booked in for its roll cage on the 25th of Feb and (fingers crossed) the engine is coming out in between Christmas and new year. Happy Days! Quote

Dan507 Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 Na i like it. I did want a red one but the shop didn't have any on settled for a silver one and glad I did. I've recently got Instagram and have been using it a lot lately. Quote
Dan507 Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 (edited) Started the template today for the splitter. That's the rough one but you get the idea. I didn't do it very accurate and don it all by eye as you can tell because it's not square at all lol. Flipped it over and done the proper template. It would have been a bit easier it my bumper wasn't cable tied back together as it's a bit all over the place. If you can't read the writing it's 3.5 inches wider on the sides and 4.5 on the front. Hopefully I'll get round to cutting it out tomorrow. I was planning on using Composite from my work, but after seeing this i might chance my mind. On another note, Picked this up today Can't wait to try this out. I've never experienced a propper l.s.d a few pictures of some of the parts witch i've stocked up on. Ohh, also. I picked up my Mishimoto Radiator on Monday too. Edited January 26, 2013 by Dan507 Quote

Dan507 Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 Thanks Lads. This makes me laugh, I get more reaction from this build on a starlet forum than i do on a rx8 forum. Just a bit more trimming and she's sweet. I'm going to use these for the support rods. Dan507 Posted February 2, 2013 Author Posted February 2, 2013 (edited) I've trimmed it all up, it fits lovely. I have also drilled and tapped more holes in the subframe for more support. Just need to make the real one now. Edited February 2, 2013 by Dan507 Quote
