Dan507
Over the weekend i decided to put on my Spoiler. what a pain in the arse that turned out to be. I'ts suppose to go in the OEM hoop spoiler holes which i couldn't so spent ages putting it in the best place. After a few hours it was finally fitted. I still haven't got my 2.5" inch risers yet. They should be here next week, The spoiler looks pretty good but needs to be higher for maximum aggression. You'll also notice in the second picture the steering wheel is on the roof. I've now fitted the Nardi steering wheel with the snap off boss so getting in and out of the car is a bit easier. I've also got a few more goodies in the post, 1.75L fire extinguisher, Battery cut off switch, Toggle switches. 10L of Fuchs SYN (XTR) and a litre of Motul 710. I Also have made start on the second phase of the wiring, which sucks. I HATE WIRING
Nanglebadger
oh dude that wing is so slutty!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love it! Phil.
Dan507
It's looking more like a car now. These are some old photos as the dash is all back in now (I've cheated. I've gave up on the wiring for the time being.) but some photos of the steering wheel for California Stytle (RX8 Forum, I'm Lazy and copy the posts over.) It's a Nardi Steering wheel. I think its used in some 90's car's as the OE steering wheel. like in porches, ect. HKB boss kit and a Driftworks removable boss kit (both are available form the Driftworks shop.) Dan507
That last picture is fucking awesome.. This thing looks SWEET Thanks dude. I know. It's saved my background on my laptop. Nice work dan is reworx the mx specialist in pompey?? If so keep tabs on your bill they arnt as clued up as they think they are. My mate had a 1000quid bill for diagnosing a fualt that i told them the cuase of a week earlier not saying its always how they are just my experience of them dude. That's the one shorty. The bloke tried to rip me off saying that the housings were scored basicly saying I needed new ones. then when i told him not to bother as i would get a new engine they where all of a sudden fine and could be reused. he also mugged me off £250 for new bearing which he admitted he never put in and my Warranty probably isn't worth the paper it's written on. I don't think I'll be using them again. Looking sweet mate Cheers dude. Looks awesome now Dan!Thanks bud!
shorty
Yea they are a shower of shit dude, I've not heard a good word about them yet. Is triton motorsport in bournemouth, read performance in lymington and jd modified in basingstoke, all very very good tuners/builders but not sure who would do wankle out of them, most likely read performance tbh. Car looks mental though

Dan507
Update Sam came over a last weekend and got some photos. Sam also helped me sort the Gauges out which was nice as i hate wiring as said a few posts ago. In other news. The car is booked in to Triton Motorsport to have a few bits done. I've also Ordered an Agency power under drive pulley. Hopfully that should be the end to the engine mods for now.
Liam_D
Love this Mate, defiantly is one of my favourite builds on any forum at the minute! Cannot wait to see it in the metal sometime.
Dan507
Thanks Liam. I Appreciate the kind words. New Disc's and the Hawk pads fitted. Racing Brake Lines fitted also with some fresh Gulf Brake fluid. The brakes feel great. The pedal is really firm and the pads have good initial bite and great torque, Even from cold. I've also fitted a exhaust bung. It makes the car sound like ass and has a noticeable decrease in power but it does make it abit quieter. Hopefully i wont have to use it but i have it just in case. According to my phone app the car makes 99DB (@5krpm) which is close to a few of noise limits on certain tracks. I can see me getting the Racing Roots. Daul Resonated De-cat soon. In other news, USPS lost my Risers for the APR. Lucky for me. Evasive Motorsport have ordered some new ones for me so I'm not out of pocket. My Agency Power Lighted pulley is here as well. I'm looking Forward to fitting that. It should feel a little quicker.

Dan507
Thanks for the Kind words lads. Finally got my risers for my spoiler. Me and Sam went a bit mad with some paint It looks much better than corroded chrome. We also Painted the Callipers and the inside of the front discs. I Also fitted my Agency power lightened pulley. the car feels a bit nippier and quite rev's even better. i'll get some now pulleys to match later on. I've bought some scrubbed Michelin slicks from a Porsche GT car i need some wheels for them though. The only thing from stopping me from taking this on a track day ATM is the fact the tow truck needs a new head gasket. it's just finding the time for my step dad to do it. Dan507
Not really alot to add. I've pretty much decided on getting some new coilovers, i'm going to save and get some KW V3's but i've changed the spring rates on the rear back to the 6k Ive bought some Race wear, Alpinestar gloves and boots and a sparco race suit. just need a new helmet now I've installed a drift button for my handbrake for mad drifts. the handbrake doesn't lock now but if it's pulled and you push the button forward it locks. Only a few things to get done now, 1. Install mesh for the bumper2. Fit fire extinguisher3. tracking 4. have a exhaust silencer install. 5. install and bed in the diff. I've decieded to leave the wiring and interior spray intill winter. I want to use it as much as possible thought out the summer. The Recovery tuck is in the middle of having the head gasket replaced so that should be done soon.
