nest Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 Small bits and bobs ATM grant, but major things will start happening in the next couple weeks..New wheels Need sand blasting and then painting, these are super light. Stripped all the loom out the car, front dash loom and engine loom weights in at a rough..Got the rear loom out and will be stripping it and completely rewiring the shell, this has started already..So many wires!!!Engine bay as it stands, gonna paint this when weather gets better! Started working on my block and doing few bits but that's secret haha. Better updates in the next few weeks Quote
Amjad Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Wow! Didn't think a bunch of wires would weigh that much! Quote
nest Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) Looking very bare and sorry for itself Few bits left to do then it's ready for seam welding in a few weeks And as the shell is now, poor thing made it through the winter alrightAmjad - yeah it's crazy mate ill weigh the lot together my loom has been ruined by someone before me aswell Edited February 9, 2013 by nest Quote
Tyron Devine Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Love a good track slag Manifold looks the nuts! Quote
lugzy clart Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Quick progress going on here fair play and amazed at the weight on the loom :/ will defo strip mine down now Quote
nest Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) Tyron - haha yeah mate this is a proper slag, yeah mate manifold is proper work off art...Lugzy - cheers mate, yeah loom is heavy loads off weight to shed, got few more bits ill be cutting out soon to get rid off abit more, trying to get it as light as possible because the seam welding and cage will add alot off weight in. Once she's together will be going straight on a weigh bridge see what it stands at The kit together in one piece, manifold is getting ceramic coated so will look incredible.
