Looking good man have you order the bits for the engine you was saying about??

And that sump had loads of silcone stuff on it was so hard to get off even when all the bolts were out hahah

not yet dude, will do it tomorrow mornin.

Some more work from this evening

Got some fresh paint on the sump

And got a couple of shots of inside the inlet runners, valves look nice and oil free good sign of the health of my oil stem seals

Car is put in the garage now, away for 2 weeks as I'm going on holiday to St, Lucia. Hopefully I can get the head of my forged engine and get me athena head gasket on and arp head bolts in too, and start putting it all back together when I get back an start saving for parts again.

Been a while since an update.

Had the head of the forged engine today to inspect any damage if there was any.

Once all the cams where out here's how it looked

Once the head was off no4 looked abit oily but not sure if that was the oil that just pissed out the head

All the bores look spot on. Still got that lovely cross hatching going on. The wossners cleaned up pretty good as well.

It also had a mls head gasket on not sure of the brand as there is no markings on it, but I pressed the micrometer down onto it for it to read 1.22mm.

Is the stock head gasket a composite type or mls?
