Freezes with my tab too, I'm starting to run out of ideas what could cause the problem

Can you choose what to log?

If so, just log one thing and see if it works. If it does, keep adding them until it fails.

Tested already, you can rev the car as long as it's stand still and values will log, but it will freeze as soon as the car moves, no matter what values you are logging. It looks like ecu cutting the data feed totally.

i'll check on the other site and see if there's any progress/issues as well

Progress with the OBD and it's working now! I made quite a lot of testing on friday and everytime the outcome was that the values froze when the car passed the speed of 3km/h. If the engine wasn't running, but odb was connected, it was showing the speed signal normally thou. I spoke with Jean who developed the unit and he suggested to disconnect the speedo cable and test it again to be sure it's not bad connection on diag connector or any noise/interference.This time values updated normally, but missing speedo signal triggered check engine light and I had to pull off and connect the speedo cable again. Then some magic happened and when I went back in the car and started it up, values updated as they normally did on idle, but they didn't froze when the car started moving!

Looking clean lad :) the glanza decal should come off I reckon ;) what power you aiming for with the emu?

Thanks, quickly washed it weekend, but still quite dirty. :G Finally got Reflets as I have wanted them so long, makes the back much more modern looking.

It should come off with Toyota badge and now that you have mentioned about it maybe I should do it right away tomorrow. Also just remembered that I've started peeling off the ABS sticker a long time ago, but for some reason it was interrupted and remainders are still there. I should finish it too, tomorrow. :lol:

Yeah I agree with the lights they look nice with the white yeah I hope you get that 230! Jam engine galore!! Yeah no stickers seem to make the white's look cleaner I have taken most of mine off to. Are you running na lights on the front or is it just me lol :p

Yeah na lights on the front due the rhd traffic. I have got jdm lights and have some plans to make them fully legal, but it will take some time.

First time I noticed tbh haha I'm due a new set soon they are hard to bring back to life, when you getting it mapped?

I will get it MOT'd first this or next week and my hot pipe should arrive in a couple of days, so should be mapped in two weeks, if everything goes as planned.

Removed the glanza decal today and didn't go well as paint chipped off with it! Boot's paintwork is poor as f*uck, so didn't come as though surprise.

I feel partley to blame for the decal I shouldn't of said out haha, will look forward to this map take lots of pics :)

The car has been mapped now on Rototest VPA R5 chassis dyno with sweep mode. Sweep mode means accelerating constant predefined rate between 1000 - 8000rpm. Pulls were done in 5th gear and one pull lasted 30secs making it very accurate. The car was mapped with 1bar, as stock injectors are so close to maxing out, duty cycle 86%. The result is 107kw(145whp)@5960, torque 198nm@4510.

..need to install cooling panel, tidy up Mitsuba's mounting brackets and buy new friction tyres for winter. Then maybe new wheels for next summer, injectors to get moar boooost or ebc to control bigger boost on mid range, better filter relocation, smaller ac condenser, projector headlights, panhard rod, front bumper and full repaint. Timescale is infinite!

Still not mapped, but will be until the summer has gone! Last week I changed my TRD plug leads to red Ultra leads I bought as used and they started missfiring on boost. Took them off once again and gave a good clean up and now they are spot on! Then I needed a harness for my AEM UEGO wideband as I want to use it for data logging with EMU. Greddy sells the harness, but the price is quite high, so I bought Futaba servo extension cable that is used in R/C cars. You have to cut a small edge off from the plug and it will fit perfect. (already cut on the pic below)

Setting up the phone and here we have Bluetooth data logger showing injector opening duration, ignition angle in degrees, percentage of opening of ICV, RPM, MAP sensor value, engine water temp, TPS status, speed and lambda lean or rich. Knock icon will show up, if knock is detected. I'm not sure, if my android version(4.4) is too new for this app as it froze immediately when I started to drive, so I have to look into it a bit more.
