Rear strut brace isn't strong enough to mount to, you need a harness bar.

I personally wouldn't want to drive or be a passenger in most of these cars as the majority of the harnesses are mounted dangerously in these pics.

The harness needs to be around shoulder height or between 20o of it iirc, a heavy impact with a harness bolted to the floor risks serious spinal damage due to the angle of the belts

^^^spot on...you'd be in for serious spinal injury in case of a collison guys. mount as close to shoulder height as possible.

Lew..your interior is clean and awesome mate..dayum

^ hopefully you wont need to use the safety side of things you mean! Itll make a massive difference to chassis rigidity. You having a cross bar / any triangulation in the roof?

The false floor in the boot, is that standard on all starlets. Mine just has a odd size piece of wood and sure thats not how it is supposed to be.

Rob any chance you could give me a hand whipping up a false floor for the rear? I will cover the cost of wood etc? :-)

I could make them no prob! the only prob I do have at the mo is time!! I have all the gear to make them up I just need to get more wood sorted out and get them made, would people want just the front part or the hole lot from the front to the rear?
