jayc-glanza17 Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 haha john, its a lovely colour.. I want a weld in cage preferably.. just want get few designs and quotes to see exactly what ill do cage wise.. thanks for comments guys. Quote
jayc-glanza17 Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 agreed I do need a cage. ive also made a fibreglass blanking plate for stereo gap(as no stereo because race car). this will house my ecu and boost controller, which will stop me from having to lean across to where ecu is currently located whilst driving.. will upload pics tomorrow Quote
jayc-glanza17 Posted March 8, 2014 Author Posted March 8, 2014 today I made and finished my stereo surround blanking plate, with my Omex cable integrated into it.. this will help when im at track and may need to run a live datalogging, and send the results back to my tuner if I've had problems in one session(haven't experienced any yet), then he can change settings and email them back and I can see if any issue sorts it self.. sort of like having a guy on the pitwall, but he may not be their, but be nice to know I can send him details on the day if I get any issues. Quote
jayc-glanza17 Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 fitted y stereo blanking plate, with the connector for my laptop, so can connect to my Omex whilst driving As weather was so nice on Sunday I decided to put the glanza back together. also took couple pics whilst it was sunny. Quote
jayc-glanza17 Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 weather was glorious in Rayleigh on the weekend.. so cracked on with fitting my other set of canards, and tidying up the inside of car. new canards, took a pic on the floor, so you guys can see what im trying to achieve aero wise. mock fitting, just on quick release hooks. cheeky bay shot as weather was so lush. Amjad Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Looks beasty man! Did you consider building a splitter to extend further back that the bumper? That's what I'm planning at the moment, but dunno if it's viable given clearances etc? Quote
jayc-glanza17 Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 ive looked into a flat front floor, its possible, but needs a lot of time to do. I have however, once material comes up cheap, got a design to redo front splitter, so it will go back to the sump or just after to the steering rack. but you need to lower the splitter first by a fair bit. so it will most likely be an air dam, splitter combo once done properly.
