im doing that Wednesday dude..

although have now just bought a new turbo..

just from general tests, engine compression is 165,167,167,165..

no mayo etc..

no coolant loss..

and smoke is only white never blue..

will post findings on wednsday..

new turbo being picked up tomorrow

right I whipped downpipe off today, and nothing too bad..

i have jus bought danny-baby td05 18g hybrid..

so today after downpipe was off i took whole turbo kit off to investigate my white smoke issue..

one turbo was off it became clear..(pictures will be uploaded tomorrow)..

oil stains, and fresh oil was around the bottom of clip that holds exhaust housing to turbo, and once took that off, the exhaust blades had oil at the back of them, and the inner cartridge had oil a 3rd of way round the circumference of turbo covered in oil..

looks like the upgrade to the 8g hybrid may have come in time.

just need to sort some air filter pipe out, as the zisco kit sits flush with PAS pump, altho their is some room to fit a silicone joiner in, so got test that out..

also need to fit exhaust housing studs, then its away i go..

right update time and pictures..

The stock td05 had blown its oil seals.. so I got a td05-18g hybrid..

first blown seals of td05 in case people need to know what to look for..

Their was oil coming out of the v-band that joins the exhaust and central cartridge, not a good initial sign, hence why I investigated further..

So I went and thought about it..

Danny-baby offerd me a good deal on an 18g hybrid, so I though I may as well try get few more bhp or at least the same at a lower boost pressure.. So I went and collected this (thanks dan).

got much experience with them Liam??

Built a few turbos with Kinguawa parts mate and they're all still going strong. One of them was a TD06 actually, running over 400bhp on a SR20DET

On 8th November I attended modified live at brands hatch..

managed to get a track session also, only downside was I went out at the wettest part of the day, but still great fun though.

Me and the car did pretty well considering the conditions but was just nice to end the year well.

as she is now of the road I decided to start stripping bits off the look for rust or signs of it..

also my cruise wings I have are going to be carbon dipped, currently saving for tis at the moment

Those figures at 1.3 bar are wheel horse power..

I got 25 bhp loss through drive train. .

So its 335 at the flywheel.

Below 2500 it's doing nothing,yet with my map I can get

Amazing economy we call it the economy zone.lol.

It's a lot smoother then a stock Td05. .

But it's pulls harder once you get above 4500.

It's got more mid range torque without feeling laggier.

Cruise wings have now been hydro dipped.

also change gesture front brake pads.

And inspected bottom end bearings, and to my amazement not a lot of wear

Not enough to warrant a change yet.
