another small update with pics..

intercooler brackets welded on, wiring loom has been cut away, where I don't need certain things..

ive extended the headlight loom thru the wheel arch and is covered in Teflon coating.

then made a new addition to front bumper..

using bonnet pins it is now quick release for track days/ nasty bumps at local meets and cruises.

Is that a water line thats goes directly over the downpipe? Might want to move it, the hose can't withstand the heat from DP.

The highest
heat resistance on a hose I have seen is 260°C / 500°F. DP is way over 500°C / 932°F. No way its going to hold.

I like the front, looks great!

right shes done guys...

mapping went well.. made 296atw at 1.5 bar as before made 284..

flywheel is 318 at 1.5 bar as before was 300.1 at 1.5 bar.

had big chat to my mapper on the phone, the inlet has made the power band more top end, and has increased torque, and its not as nice below 2.2k as the stock item, but above 4k it makes a huge difference, and the inlet temps are lower by 8 degrees.

That's probably to do with better intercooler and inlet, not just one item making the difference.

Lag is exactly as was before even tho got a 70mm throttle body on..

when mapping compared to before, my tuner told me he took 4% ignition out and 8% more fuel in so clearly the engine is getting a lot more air, so nice to be able to do an accurate comparison..

Top end he showed me it makes a huge difference, boost and power doesn't drop off like before at 6600rpm, it stays all the way to 7300rpm..

picture time...

cheers Maddox, mid range to top end is certainly faster then before..

but yes ive sacrificed low down power and a little bit of low down torque, but from 3k the pick up is pukka, definite improvement.

also forgot to add dyno cell temps today were 29.4c when mapped end of april before japfest it was 15.7..
