just finished creating my OMEX loom with my dad, and also have been designing a bracket for the coil..

car goes into my tuner wednsday..

as its snowing here, I haven't done the oil and filter yet, will do that Monday..

by the way best spark plug gap on heat range 8 plug for a td05??

still same as before .8??

also thinking of a 98/99 spec front bumper for shows and keep my 96 spec one for track days..

The largest gap possible for the strongest spark mate, but without blowing it out. Trial and error really as it will vary on engine to engine.

She gonna be mapped on Wednesday? Be interesting to see this Omex working bud :)

she goe in to have final bits fitted adam, so coolant temp sensor, idle valve, Omexs own map sensor, all pretty much cosworth sensors..

then she be mapped and given back to me for japfest..

but should be before then id guess around 3 weeks tops, as I can leave car with him as I don't use it that much as weathers so poor lately..

no 600 in end adam..

had long chat with my tuner, and he basically said the 600 is brilliant and the 710 isn't worth the extra money, as wont make anymore power, and because hes a omex speacialist, he gets the latest software and compared both, and just thinks the 600 is far better value for money and has so many features for my set up that I don't need to get the 710, so I took his word..

lets be honest compared the emanage ultimate, this should be the final piece I need, and driveability is my main goal, not overall power on the td05..

Coil installed..

My blue magnecor leads have been semt back to magnecor for them to swap the ends over to fit the Omex coil, so means they will look very smart once al installed and look like there were their from standard(which I really like).

Trigger wheel has been machined, just got to be fitted, along with the crank sensor..

Next week, trigger wheel to be fitted, and see if she fires up..

after that, its get rid of coolant temp sensor(Toyota item) as im running the omex one, and use the hole left from that to fir my water temp gauge..

Rad fan is all connected.. all earths have been redone..

Then its map time.. so not too much to do in time for japfest..

Custom magnecore leads, magnecore charged 25 pounds to change the ends for coil fitment, I think it looks very tidy..
