iamlegend
I'd imagine the silicone hoses are holding the metal pipe in place, remove the silicone ones and completely remove the metal one.Them replace the O-ring, push the metal pipe back in, replace 10mm bolt (use loctite if your paranoid about losing it again) then reconnect the silicone hoses job done. mate there was a little 10mm bolt in place right next to it so dunno which one you mean can see the black bolt there right near the metal clip holding the hose on? Lew91
That's the one, the seal could have been pinched when it was installed then and it's finally given up just bad luck it happened where it did. Do the process above and it'll be fine. Iddy should be able to sort you out with a new seal if not ask mike I'm sure he'll sort one out for you.
Lew91
That's just a housing bolt, hang on I'll get a better pic.
Lew91
The bolt will be in the bracket after the second bend in the pipe, it should have been bolted to the block.
iamlegend
so the case of taking that off? fit new rubber ring seal then attatch but again theres nothing bolt to secure it back in... so by the looks of it td have not put the bracket on? hmmmmm great
Ryan-11
should look like this (obviously the engine is upside down) http://s236.photobucket.com/user/RyanMcCluskey/media/glanza/DSC00250.jpg.html'>
Lew91
^^ that pic will explain it better. I thought the bracket was tacked on, could be wrong tho. Best bet is to just take it off and find out what is and isn't there for now. It has to come off any way.
TurboTobz
Look at the second pic I've uploaded it shows the bracket horizontally sat just as the picture ends on the left
iamlegend
does the water pump need to come off to do this? tbh TD should be sorting this out for me here like... ITS BEEN 1 FUCKING DAY LMAO! going to have a word with mike as I aint got a clue i am not mechanic hence why I have paid like 4k+ for the build what do you think about this? .. dunno where i stand! TurboTobz
I dunno it's a tough one speculating and saying what they should and shouldn't do is a bit below board. I think it's best left for you speak to them about it, but they have a huge reputation which they have long maintained im sure they won't treat you poorly, these things do happen as I said, we're only human! turbo Grant
I had the same leak on my engine. It was an assembly error by my self. Wasn't a fun job to air with the manifold on. If that happend at my garage we would sort it for free no questions asked. As who works on the car is liable for a year. Not sure how TD work tho. Disclaimer and what not
iamlegend
Cheers for all the support lads! and help! Much appreciate it! Yes grant I've had a look and it's not a job I can do on jacks! Or what I want to be touching hence paying so much to get this shit done...

ryan lang
How it should look, the right way up, with the bolt and bracket smack bang in the middle of the blockIf that little 10mm isn't there, I'd expect TD to fix it for free

ryan lang
I'd expect a leak or 2 within the first week of a fresh buildNot when he's just paid 4k. Fair enough if it was his 1st time doing it by himself.
Patches
Mate i feel your pain! Sadly with modifying cars you have many ups and downs. Things are going to go wrong every now and then. Im sure you'll be back on the road in no time
The_Notorious_C_A_T
Glad to hear td are recovering it, as annoying as it can be mistakes do happen, we are only human, it's how you rectify the problem. And problems will eventually happen no matter which company you use. Although it's funny that someone feels the need to phone up td and say shit. From what I read everything posted is a fair enough point of view, yes you were pissed off and quite rightly so, everyone would be if they just spent a not insignificant sum of money then that to happen. And since you are waiting to be recovered and costing you cash it makes it worse as can do nothing but fume about it.
waderz06
Glad to hear it's something fairly simple to put right and that it's being sorted. Shouldn't of happened in the first place but could of been worse. You will be back on the road in no time
pick1
Glad to see it seems to be an easy fix mate sure td will sort it , u will be boosting again in no time But can imagin how u felt at the time dude
Lew91
Not when he's just paid 4k. Fair enough if it was his 1st time doing it by himself.Nah I'd still expect to iron out a few niggles regardless of how much you spend.Good to hear TD are sorting it all out tho mate.
