So the newest update isn't on my car.

However, me and a friend have recently just brought a 1A0 96 Spec shell. Missing an engine, and both bumpers. Plans to rebuild it for our friend who wants to buy it once it's running. If all else fails, buy out my friend and give to the Mrs's as she adores civics and Glanza's. She's a car freak as much as i am. (WIN WIN SITUATION).

I haven't got pics, but the shell is extremely mint. It also has some TEIN coilovers, which i plan on swapping onto my car, after i refurbish them. Along with a flushed boot without a dent nor scratch. So, again i plan on stealing this as i have a 5 inch gash in my boot.

We're having jitters about getting it running and hoping it doesn't turn into a massive money pit. But, we dont know until we try!

So as some of you may know, i bought Jamie's Glanza V Shell.

Me and a friend went half's with the intentions of fitting an engine, sourcing both bumpers and getting her ready for the road, to either sell to our friend. Or eventually i was going to buy him out and give it to my girlfriend for her birthday present.

Unfortunately, His civic has now blown a head gasket. 1.4 EJ9.. He used and abused it for 4 years, so it held up amazingly. He's now funding a B18C4 so the shell idea has been shelved. We're now braking it up!

It's not all sad though! It had some pretty naffed TEIN coilovers. Which are salvageable. Shocks are working effectively, the cups are on there way out. We've swapped them onto mine for now, and it's insanely low. If i go around a corner with abit of passion, it can hear it scrubbing. However, i still want more lows! So once we've made some profit from the shell they'll be coming off for a complete refurbish, paint to freshen them up!

I also managed to nab the boot. Which has been smoothed where the wiper hole was. It's 5x better than mine. Which has helped freshen mine up!

I grabbed some pictures at my girlfriends yard, where she does her horses. As you can imagine i loved driving up there with stupidly low coilovers and potholes and thick mud everywhere!

Next update will be the fitting off my much anticipated clutch! Which im desperate to get in. Everytime i drive mine currently i get squeeky butt syndrome as its dieing a slow death!

Its a shame to see her getting broke up but shit happens lad

Glad your making use of the boot will look awesome on yours as its a mint shell anyway pal :)

Now get that clutch fitted lad :) !!!!!

I know.. I would've loved to get it running and buy my friend out in a 2/3 months time for my Mrs's toy!

Boot will be done probably this weekend! Will complete the car and be mint once I've got a 98 spec lip!

The coilovers are actually ok! Just need a good lick of paint and new cups which i'll buy next week. Hopefully this cups hold till then LOL!

Updateeeee...

Should have my new wheel fitted this evening along with my bosskit. Eventually i'll opt for a Nardi one, but it's a steal at the price and it'll do me well until my mapping is done when i can invest into the looks of the car!

Pics to follow once fitted.

Soooo...

I had round 2 with my 98 spec steering wheel tonight. It ended 1-1 as I got it off. That was a nightmare, so simple in the end but hey ho!

Then, the new wheel on. Liking it a lot. But at some stage I'll get a Nardi as there slightly smaller.

The more eagle eyed keeno's might spot my 2 gauge pillar pod I pulled out of the shell I bought. Just need to get around to wiring the gauge up there now!
