AlanNI
I want to know what's the best bhp for a daily driver I was thinking about 150 to 200 would be best what's your opinions
Phil
260 imo Phil
H_D
150-200 is safe on a stock engine.anything above 230ish on stock internals is asking for trouble IMO
Ollieh17
i plan on running about 180-200 daily on a ct9 turbo, minimal lag suits the roads by me better
gorganl2000
maybe around 175-200bhp,really depends on what you want from your car, so many variables--- how your drive, where you drive, response preference, etc
Zeldoz
Mines a daily. 4-6 miles a day to and from work. TD04 @ 236bhp.
Vturbo
1 bar on ct9 is perfect for daily city use for me
richglanzav
yeh i think a good healthy 1 bar ct9 setup is good for cheapness if you dont mind spending some wonga then something like a blitz k1 at 1.1 bar on decent management (210ish bhp) and zero lag - thats a truly awesome street setup Edited March 17, 2014 by richglanzav
Eynonz
I'm thinking 1 bar on a CT9 Hybrid for myself eventually, and that will suit me fine on this crappy Swansea roads which mostly involve road works.
Matt1878
I run 1 bar on a TD04 @ 237bhp as a daily to and from work/college. A lot depends on your map if your thinking fuel economy. If your thinking reliability then I see no difference.I ran my old V @1 bar on a ct9 daily with blitz access and it was fine. Now my current @1 bar on td04 is just as fine
Matt1878
260 imo PhilLove how everyone is like 150, 180... Then Phil comes in with ah fuck it.. 260bhp!
aidanep71
As much as possible within reason you don't have to use it all if ya don't want to and it's always nice to have it
Nanglebadger
yeh i think a good healthy 1 bar ct9 setup is good for cheapness if you dont mind spending some wonga then something like a blitz k1 at 1.1 bar on decent management (210ish bhp) and zero lag - thats a truly awesome street setup boom, this one for me! AlanNI
Blitz k1 what manifold fits them and what's the price range of the turbo
AlancEP82
I'd like a daily between 220 and
Nanglebadger
stock manifold, or a JAM one. Or probably any of the CT9 aftermarket exhaust manis (Racetech, Zisco) but I'd be checking with them before purchasing. Dont come up for sale very often; when they do they can fetch a pretty penny. AlanNI
A so the turbos are like hens teeth I think there was a black glanza with red wheels for sale on gumtree that had the blitz turbo I think it was in Armagh not sure tho

Then Phil comes in with ah fuck it.. 260bhp! my previous daily was 260 hence my opinion. always loved a early morning run up the peninsula against the other various bits of quick machinery around the neighbourhood (particularly some old gezzer in a nova) Phil
