Ollieh17
as charade is off the road, I got a dog and wanted a work house i started looking for a daily estate. Was after a diesel but this popped up for £200, all electric work, heated seats and full leather.
dan106
Thats a massive contrast to the charade! Whats the insurance like on it?
mart1
Nice ride and a bargain for £200, what I love about cars like this is other cars shift out of the way when you need to push through traffic, you be getting an 850 R next haha
Ollieh17
£400 to insure will drift with a bit of effort too ;) ive noticed how people move haha. Gonna stop myself from modding this. Its so confortable and suprisingly refined for a old car
mart1
My caldina is £100 cheaper to insure than the glanza v was.
Ollieh17
I can insure the volvo and charade with mods for less than the starlet was Edited January 28, 2016 by Ollieh17

Ollieh17
Its the 190 hpt Beast, does the turbo stuff bolt on to the nas?
morgey
I dont really know, i cant see it being much different though, these have a stupid timed over boost though so only full boosts for like 10 secs or something. Should really take the factory boost controller out and fit an aftermarket one. Can run 1 bar atleast without a problem. After that a td05, fmic, exhaust, injectors and a remap and your good for 3-350hp apparently.
PPSR05
That's not a car or a brick. That's a tank for Christ sake hahaha wouldn't want to be hit by that.
Ollieh17
Some progress on the charade now the heater matrix is fixed on the volvo. Awkward sourcing parts for these engines and they are expensive. Had to source a custom MLS headgasket from the US which was costly. Only thing holding it back atm is the rings as im scared to just go for it.
lukEp
Looks like there's been some serious heat through that No.3 main cap? Judging from the colour between 500-600°Engine looks sweet. Looks like your doing it right. Luke Edited February 19, 2016 by lukEp

Ollieh17
Middle cylinder takes alot of heat on these engines because of the standard mani.the cap is fine, the discoloured bit is a thin piece of ally i presume. Just a bracket to hold the oil squirter bar. Well built engine from standard so deserves some respect!!
