crispyeel
Hey folks, looking for some advise on choices of turbos as I am in the process of gathering all of the nessesary parts to start a forged 5E build for my Glanza Looking for some info/advise on what turbo and manifold setup would be good to help produce 350bhp or more if possible
ChrisLeeBoost
Sard k26 kit good for 350ish
richardc9052
Hybrid td04 would get you up there and still have good spool time. They make 300 on 4e so with a little more boost and a good map I can see it hitting 350 on a 5e. Anyone actually tried that?

Gainzy
It's the torque that makes the 5E from what I've seen 4E and 5E make around the same it's all in the turbo and map TD04 be floating around 300's why anyone wants more than that is beyond me lol
ChrisLeeBoost
I second that gainzy 300 is more than enough IMO
5e colin
you do get more bhp out of a 5e on the same setups you get free bhp just by the cc hike
akaye4000
Gt28 that's what I'm going for after not being happy with td05
Gainzy
Gt28 that's what I'm going for after not being happy with td05Did you not have a bad map? I reckon td04 would be spot on to run I suppose it depends on where you live how you drive lol
wickedep
you do get more bhp out of a 5e on the same setups you get free bhp just by the cc hike ^^^ this... i dont know why people keep saying you cant make more power...more displacement means more bhp/torque and faster turbo spool... how much more power you will make over a 4e using same turbo will depend on your set up/tune. if your not making more power/torque on a 5e with 200cc's of extra displacement...then your doing something wrong
akaye4000
Did you not have a bad map? I reckon td04 would be spot on to run I suppose it depends on where you live how you drive lolYeah Shit map but it's a track car mainly so td04 was good but wasn't powerful enough for me so trying gt2860rs as should be less laggy and going elsewhere for a map this time
Gainzy
Yeah Shit map but it's a track car mainly so td04 was good but wasn't powerful enough for me so trying gt2860rs as should be less laggy and going elsewhere for a map this timeWhat power did you make td04? I'm tinkering with my 5E turbo idea's a lot of choice!
AdamB
VF35 if on a budget. GT28 if not
Scoobysvx
I'm also interested to see what td04s will make on a 5e as I'll be having mine mapped soon and there's only a couple on the leaderboard. What power could you be looking at for a vf35 as I'd like to keep my manifold if I wanted more power
Bean
A vf35 is great on a 5e. Instant boost.
5e colin
Yeah Shit map but it's a track car mainly so td04 was good but wasn't powerful enough for me so trying gt2860rs as should be less laggy and going elsewhere for a map this time stock td04 is just to small for a 5e same as ct9 is to smal for the 4efte tdo4 will drop of top end limiter tdo5 will pull past the rev limiter Edited January 4, 2016 by 5e colin
akaye4000
280_300 on 5e td04
