Fordie, I really hope they are ok, I bought a couple of sets from a reputable Mazda breaker. Now I genuinely believed that these injectors where 100% (I ran a set myself and burnt a forged piston so trust me no joke to me) I would spend the 30quid to get them flow tested just incase. I could sit here with my fingers crossed and say nothing but I'm just telling you all the info and letting you decide your best course of action with all the facts. I hope yours are 100% and that they give you no bother. Phil

Yup on there way to bussy now. I've still and forged bottom end requiring only 1 new piston if another fancies a bargains Scat rods Acl bearings Crank block All built and only 10k on it, needs 1 cp piston. Phil

Like it, and engine weight seems perfect. THIS in a EP85 600hp. all toyota power would be awesome. (take note browner the red toms ep85 needs this) Phil

will overall length is min 1.6mm long or max 2.9m (depending whether the 6mm camry is actually 5.87 stem not sure yet. 1.6mm can hopefully manage with, but if not hopefully enough meat about the collet to cut that down to 93.3mm Phil
-
yes lol research in the hope that it makes things easier!! from what i read all we need is enough tip length in the camry valve to allow it to protrude beyond the retainer/collet and into the bucket. that sound right to you aswell? Phil
-
hydraulic lifters? we are bucket and shim all the way in the 4e head no? lol im told that the 4efte valve tip length is roughly 3.25mm just need to work out the tip length on the 2vzfe/3vzfe valves. Phil
-
need the collet lock position now. and to compare it to a another valve to see if in cutting down i may still have the collet ring there or it may be right at the top of the stem meaning i would be better with something even longer to get it clean outa the way. Phil
-
have contacted seller to query. the part number and specs dont match. any way to fit a valve thats very close in size/length? but slight longer stem length. Phil
-
Thanks for the offer, but Weejohn has already had the ruler on for me cheers though these are 20v apparently perfect size 2mm oversize and allegedly the right stem dia http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Supertech-Forged-Exhaust-Valve-Set-for-Toyota-Corolla-4AGE-20V-TEVN-1018-/291147383246?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43c9bc81ce Phil

well i dont think im going to find a valve to do the job off the shelf (cheap/stock) so its either 20v 4age (26mm) or 7mgte (27.5mm) wonder with the supra valves fit. Phil
-
id also need a personal loan Lol!! ill try to get in touch with Chrisep70greeceguy see what he did with his head regarding the 7mgte valves. though he did some nice work for sure!! porting and polishing inside. http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showthread.php?34958-Head-jobs...&p=434935#post434935 Phil

27mm head diameter please lol just need them made up now. you using vector works? Phil
-
dbilas still list valves for the 4efte and though cheaper than supertech they are still dear. Phil
-
3sgte valves seem to be 93.3 long and 5,97 stem. what size diameter might they be found in... fingers crossed once again... Phil
-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-ESCORT-MONDEO-1-8-2-0-ZETEC-EXHAUST-VALVES-x-8-/380603789096?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item589dc0ef28 these seem to match, except ive not seen anything on length.. 96.7 is the Zetec (but 28mm dia) 99.75 is Supra 7mgte (but 27.5mm dia) ??.?? is 4efte (but25mm dia) ??.?? is 4age (but 25.5mm dia) Help with stock valve length please Phil
-
What are these same sizes? Thanks in advance grant Phil
-
What length/diameter are stock valves? (stem wise not port) (29intake 25exhaust) trying to find another valve that may be interchangeable. currently looking at toyota 3VZE; SOHC 12v Phil
-
will 4age valve guides be the right length for 4efte valves? Phil
-
plus all your time for porting and polishing obviously. Phil
-
ps 28quid would get you 4age exhaust valves. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EXHAUST-VALVE-TOYOTA-CELICA-COROLLA-4A-GE-16V-1-6-1983-1988-/161163946950?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item25861eabc6 the machine work etc by my calcs would be roughly. cut/regroove for collet 100 bore .5mm into head ports 50 so total cost roughly 180quid for oversized 0.5mm Phil
-
I think the 7mgte exhaust valves would be super. 2.5mm oversize!! but sure thats only 1.25mm to the radius so should fit. i think Chrisep70gt (greece) ran supra valves in his machine. whats stock valve length? also are stock 4age valves stiffer than stock 4efte valves. Phil
-
What about the Scene though? its been at least 10posts since some even mentioned the 'scene' has the 'scene' been forgotten? Phil
-
Adam you see the above link, what mm oversized are the supertech ones? and what diameter are 7mgte valves. i priced getting supra exhaust valves done and its not extortionate really. can have them bought posted from america machine down regrooved for the collets and the head ports enlarged & reseated to suit for less that the price of the supertech ones!
