so basically you would prefer they forgot all they have learned in the past decade and made something slower and more dangerous? those cars you've mention that were lairy/lethal had equally lairy and lethal bog standard sisters. for example a series 1 escort rs turbo may be annoying as a daily and a touch dangerous if pushed on. but so was a stock escort. whereas a fast megane/astra nowadays would be agreeable as a daily but so is a stock megane/astra/golf. the base cars are so much better that its pointless complaining that they are heavier or bigger. If we want something that

Thats definitely your opinion! Even a Jap head with old school tendancies has to embrace the new!! Starlets where new fangled once! Some are good looking, some perform better, plenty of dirty tat in there too, and even cars we love, are awful looking aesthetically. wack. well i dont know if thats good or bad! One thing is for sure its looks interesting and the the recent Nissan offerings are to go by it will outperform the original pulsar on every level despite the extra weight. drivetrain i havent seen confirmed though. Phil

like it alot. the jap hatches need to get back in on the action. obviously not as light or raw as the original, but a mk7 golf R is clearly nothing like a mk1/2 golf, but at least they are still being made. This pulsar will probably be safely tuned on stock stuff to 350+hp its still cool even if it aint turbo tin can mental. Phil

if the plugs were all black then your injectors should be grand (just alot bigger than stock so running crap and overfuelling) so your safe, one of my injectors was flowing no fuel and blew my engine before i even checked the plugs ! if one was underflowing it would leave your plug looking white. so as the guys said above, probably just needs mapped, leave them out until your getting mapped up Phil
