  1. My vote is for bronze if you're wanting to keep it relatively subtle. But if you want to go all out, a luminous yellow/green colour would look the tits with purple.
  2. I'd snap your arm off for the C's short shifter but I have sod all money Shame to see the V go, but needs must I guess?
  3. Mate, you're 17 days too late for April's Fool.
  4. But then why aren't they called 4/5s?!?!? WE HAVE TO GO DEEPER. This is clearly an attempt to sow chaos and implement the beginning of a new world order. THE BLACK HELICOPTERS ARE COMING OH GOD.
  5. Fitted my reverse scoop on Sunday, bonded it in with some Tigerseal. It's not the best fit in the world (2-3mm gap either side), and the slightly different paint colour sticks out a bit more than I thought it would but I'm not too bothered. There's already a chip on one edge where it fell through my bonnet and landed on my manifold when fitting it And a full shot. Amazing how different it looks. Certainly (to my eyes), it looks a lot more purposeful, from both a side profile and from the drivers seat!
  6. £255, tits sake. I would have bought them at that hahahaa. Seriously though, real shame about that, they were worth £750 all day long!! Just couldn't afford it
  7. Aha! It was you who rolled up at the Corolla RR day I was there with the Corollas, going on a power run. Mine was the black GT looking fairly stock on the outside with gold wheels if you remember it. I was going to say something to you, but you looked fairly busy
  8. As some of you saw on Facebook, a few days after putting on my 5/4s, I've had to put the Rotards back onto my rear. The culprit? A screw through one of my barely used S.Drives Got it repaired today, and will probably fit them back on Sunday along with the reverse scoop from Starbuck! The one thing I am debating now though.... which way round do I put them on?
  9. Can't see me ever selling up the '82 to be honest, or at least if I wanted another car but couldn't afford to keep it going, my parents would look after it. EP82 track slag and MkIII Supra daily please.
  10. Knew they were going to be in gold too hahahaaaaa! Gonna look brilliant mate, what tyres will you be running?
  11. Completely missed this topics revival!! Brilliant to see you back Enzo, always loved your blurple Starlet,
  12. I'm guessing 501 or 530? 8J is going to be mad! You getting some fat arches on then?
  13. Bought a reverse scoop off Marc, plenty of communication, even snapped a pic of the package so I'd know what it looked like! Was well packaged and item exactly as described. Very happy mate!
  14. Picked up the scoop in my lunch break, looks lovely. Now I just need to buy some Tigerseal (Halfrauds don't seem to stock it), and get it on! Also Yellowstuff pads are fucking horrid. I regret buying them now, seem to be worse than the Hawk pads it had on before.
  15. Can't get over how lush the gold bronze colour looks on them! Shame that the wheel refurbers did a cack-handed job when they did them a second time, I think they basically just keyed them and gave the front faces another coat, backs of them is all shit. Not taking anything to Wheel Repair Centre, Bamber Bridge again! Anyway, need to get onto Josh in a few weeks time, see about getting some decals made up for them in black.
  16. Another week, another update! Was down at TD at the weekend, joining CorollaClub.net at their RR day, where the car got 162bhp. Nick was quite impressed, and he said that he suspected that it may be running a different wheel inside the turbo (can't remember if he said intake or exhaust). I know those particular rollers' reputation as heartbreakers, so the fact that I'm still 160bhp+, on a warm day, has made me chuffed. Curves are pretty much the same as the Powerstation printout the weekend before, and the fuelling and boost all seems fine, no worries there so I'm pleased! Only hiccup I've h
  17. I'm now running 14"s on my GT as my summer wheels, and although they're 6JJ over my 7J Rotas, they look too boss not to run them Volk 5/4s baby! Would love to find a 15" set though, but they're even rarer than the 14" sets!!
  18. Brilliant games, currently playing through TXR3 on my PC! If you have a PS2 still, I can recommend getting Kaido Racer 2 (part of the same series, just named diff as its in the mountains rather than wangan runs.) For everything else, emulation using PCSX2 on your PC will probably be your best bet, can set it up to work with an XBOX360 PC controller.
  19. If only I could afford it. Would look right at home under my 14" Volks Looking on Endless's site, they don't even do 2-peice discs or the braided lines for the Starlet any more!
  20. Looking good Tristan! I'm guessing this is all a bid to get it properly set up for track use?
