I looked into it and for all the time and effort and money you may aswell just go for an emanage. There's one going on here at the moment that I'm looking at, it's from a glanza so not sure if it'd fit but it's cheap enough.
I've found Ebc to be shocking in the past mate I've given them a chance on a couple of cars in the past and they were useless. That was following the massive run in times you're meant to give them too. As said above, mintex or ferrodos mate
They look great mate, I'm sticking with the speedlines so am going to need spacers :/ to the uneducated they'd still think it was a v. Get some more track vids up!
I think it's great you're going for a Toyota based conversion and imagine the parts needed for the conversion are cheaper and like you said easier. The k20 is a fantastic engine but the 2zz is really underrated.
Looks lovely mate really nice job. What spacers are you running? i bet you get people thinking its a glanza at track days. They'd probably be even more surprised on track if it looked like an NA and you were staying with them ha ha
I'm wondering if something's wrong with mine then as it feels a little unpredictable and wayward. It's got apexi springs on instead of the tte's. The rear strut brace has helped a lot though. Got an anti lift kit sat in the garage and will be getting a rarb too. My tyres are pants and I bet the tracking out so that'll be why it feels a bit sloppy
What handling mods have you done? And what brakes? Mines still pretty much stock sr set up with front and rear strut braces so just collecting parts to fit all at once so I can get a laser set up. I'm hopfuly getting levin twin pots next month
Awesome mate and brilliant vid really shows that a lot of it is down to driver ability. Def agree with you about sorting the handling first before adding more power- that's my plan.
