  1. Bit of a mix up on display signs. P1 sends you to the pits. Were 3rd right next to the scoony owners.
  2. Was given a towel before to wrap up a rear axle. But my MD brings his sons old clothes in to work to use as rags. They get cleaned first but theres been pants in the mix, needless to say they get thrown out by all bar him funnily enough
  3. Now that makes sence as its like a 20 sec job but im to retarded and lazy to do it lol
  4. People who take it too seriously Im too lazy to give my cars a full blown nook and crannie clean. Bodywork door shuts wheels done. Ill clean the engine bay a bit leading upto shows but thats it.
  5. Wheels are on hold as is much with this car atm. Some spacers are in the pipeline which will lead to some arch rolling no doubt. ideally id like that done for jae but with my corollas gearbox howling like a lost puppy, so im concentrating on the 20v swap in that as it is my daily. However I did give it a full wash polish and wax ready for japfest. Shiney shiney Didnt bother with the wheels as they'll get filthy on route and will clean them when I get there.
  6. Damn I've book marked it now! What was delivery time like?
  7. They were about £26-28 + vat 4th gear hub was £76 this was worse than most the synchros. 2nd gear hub which includes reverse was £130. Total with vat was about £320
  8. You can get a map convertor to run boost on the n/a map sensor. Cheif quimby has experience of boosting n/a's
  9. You managed to squeeze the plenum in too I see. I think yours is a bit more forward than mine plus youve used the 20v mount or a variation of on the drivers side. I wish I had done mine that way now.
  10. Cheers, Well I've paid for them just waiting on them to be delivered they were sent by the same person who I got the exhaust from and that turned up thursday so where these arw I dont know. I've messaged the guy I got them from for tracking details but he's currently on holiday. Either way its going to be at least a week before the box is back together so I've got a bit of time on my hands but I will bear that in mind thanks.
  11. Yeah they are deffo a good all rounder. Cheers dude, its in need of some tlc tbh full front end respray and same with engine bay and a few brackets need doing but its mainly because im too busy enjoying it haha If you do ill give you some pointers where I can
  12. Fair one. Ahh cool yeah they should do a pretty good job tbf. Gone for a good tyre choice, I've got them myself
  13. Im so glad you said you're going back to the n/a look. I think the rep look should be reserved for tubbys imo. Get an emanage blue on there and get the most from them itb's
  14. Swung by toyota earlier. Ordered 1st and 4th gear synchros Selector hub for 1st and 2nd and for 3rd and 4th. 2nd and 3rd synchros and 6th gear is on back order till october 23rd but 6th can be replaced in situe with any luck and 2nd and 3rd werent all that bad anyway. So will be getting 6th gear when it arrives. Clutch ordered blue print oem. Waiting on flywheel and alternator still... Will be pulling the gears off the shafts saturday for new parts to be fitted when they turn up on the 18th. Cars just had a new windscreen and will be booking it in for an MOT tomorrow so its getting cl
  15. Welcome to the uk 20v club. Only 4 of us on here afaik. Be good to see some pics, some close ups of how you mounted your engine would be good to compare too.
  16. pulling 5th off can be a right royal pain in the ass though, i broke 2 sets of pullers getting mine off. and anyway if they want to use the whole gearset then just change the bell housing, that way you dont even need to remove 5th gear anyway.
  17. 5th could be changed separately. Youd have to use both input and output gear (drive and idler gear) from the yaris box and fit them straight back onto the starlet gearsets. There would be no bearings touched in doing that. If you wanted to change the whole gearsets I would just follow taggy's guide to fitting an lsd (hopefully yaris boxes run 8 bolt diffs so your aftermarket diffs will bolt into the yaris ring gear if not you'll need a 6 bolt lsd). And use it to fit an lsd to the yaris box and also to swap the bell housings over from the zz bell housing to the 4e bell housing as they will be
  18. Thats some good going. Mine couldnt even keep up with my mates 1.4 ek civic.
  19. If you want your car on the stand you need a stand pass. If you don't mind parking ib the public car park then a normal ticket is fine.
