The cut over is much more aggressive in the 2zz, Its much more like the B series vtec engine. The K is much more refined and has a smoother powerband. So soundwise 2zz for me!

Nice to see work like this happening thr seats for the rear springs are quite smart I must say. I've got a 16v 4age smallport in bits if thats any use. I think the Oil pump failed so crank needs a regrind. Set of ae111 throttlebodies and you'll be well away ;)

I think youll find you are just really lucky lol I've rebuilt my calipers twice. The last time I fitted new discs and pads at the same time and it still failed its mot with 13% with 40% imbalance lol Id stick to drums if I were you lol only good thing about them is the visual bonus

Its based on a mitsi colt. Chuck the mivec head on it from a 4g92 mirage cyborg with some management and you're pushing towards 200hp. My friend had the cyborg and it was a brilliant little car. Handled really well on b roads comfy and well built, the engine had a lovely roar to it. And that was from a 93/94 so id like to think with another 6 7 years to improve on that the proton should be a great car

Stock for stock theres not much in it speed wise. Get a facelift corolla as the pfl aren't spec'd as well and have more issues. Hondas interior is like our starlets but not put together as well, hard plastic cheap and creaky. Reliability both are good if looked after but the 2zz will shit itself if you miss shift and over rev it. the k20 is the better engine in terms of performance gains.

You might just have to come to an agreement with ricky. Post the turbo back. Get all the money back from paypal then pay him an agreed price for the mani and wastegate afterwards. Is a bit of trust going on there amd guessing thats prob out the question but the only other option is send it all back

Well if toyota cant help thats the best thing I can suggest. I would try some other toyota dealerships as they will be your best bet for proof. Or even get them to use that website and print you a letter on headed paper confirming the details of your car from that site. The parts dept are better than the receptionists at my local dealership tbh
