ok so been continuing to take my trueno apart over the last week/weekend and was quite surprised to find this... exedy hyper carbon single plate clutch kit! i knew it wasn't stock but i wasn't expecting a full on track clutch not considering how easy it was to drive! however, it did have its issues! the clutch and pressure plate must have been replaced at some point as they are almost new, but the flywheel has got seriously hot. and i mean seriously! needless to say im going to take it into work and skim it up but im a little concerned about the side of the

Yeah they reckon he was on about £50,000 a day I heard. Even if that's only for 3 weeks that's over £1,000,000!!!

Isn't the z1 waterproof? Lol
-
Get an iPhone if you jailbreak it as I found they are quite restricted. Android has a much more open market for apps however this does mean some are terrible. The z1 is a good phone but you might find it on the large side, however they are about to release the z1 compact which is the exact same phone spec wise (other than the screen) just smaller So Will Be A Similar Size TO an IPhone. Best thing to do is try one in the shop, you get a 7 or 14 day exchange policy on phones so can always try it out. Going from ios to andriod is bewildering to some so will take some getting used to but once y

I'm just thinking of a single page for a quick reference of a member and car. Imagine it like an eBay add. 1 initial display pic, click it, brief description and another 4 or 5 pictures. Then a link to there build thread. It would make looking for a certain car and member a lot easier lol
-
You mean a gallery? Lol Could put it as a tab at the top and it just has a single picture set by the member which you click on to bring up a gallery of that person. I could see it working but at the same time it would have to be done by image hosting sites still other wise it would fill servers. There's other sites like it. Have a selection of pics and a quick description of the car etc

Which kind of puller is he using? The arm type ones? My mate made a wedge type gear separator. 2 tapered plates with tube on either end and bolts going through then you just do the bolts up and it pulls together and lifts the gear off the shaft. Bit like this http://www.harborfreight.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/i/m/image_18479.jpg?01AD=3jiKXLQhA61ZgSuxe5WrPAzNZi9WpC5-kF1rxEiRwX9jlFwB4Lx25HA&01RI=C572B0883225251&01NA=

Yes they should. But I've not tried one in a starlet box myself however I'm sure I read someone running one the other day. They are a C series box so as long as you have the 8 bolt diff they should fit fine.

Had to say whether it would hold up or not. They come stock with 165hp and 120lbft for comparison. And the corolla t-sport uses a c160 as well I believe which is 190hp and 130lbft and they don't seem to have the same problems so might be worth looking at one of them? The oem diff is easy to drive daily. The cusco diff is aggressive and snatches the steering unless you have your foot down. No as the final drive links with the output shaft. You have a 5 speed shaft and a 6 speed shaft so to fit the c160 you would need to fit the gears from the c52 to the c160 shaft and the positioning of all t

I had one. I crashed it late last year! I miss it like mad

6th gear has been known to strip itself but I've also heard of them handle 450hp+ The diff in them is a great bit of kit though. Putting one back in my car. Prefer it over the cusco

Thank yourself you used PayPal correctly!. Next time be wary of users with very low post counts. Tbh I'm not sure why there isn't a minimum post count before you can sell. That would save a fair bit of aggro?

I've got one laying about

It's more acceleration that's quicker. Top speed won't really be affected as that's more aero dynamics. In fact my corolla goes 15mph faster 5's up than with me on my own! Lol

People are genuinely trying to help you guys out. Why not take them up on this offer. It's evident Adam had nothing to do with stealing your money in fact he's in the same barrel, unless you have proof otherwise? If I were you I'd be Pm'ing Jay and asking all the questions I could!

^^^ this. Should be fine unless it's been skimmed. If youre not sure, Drop the plugs out and shine a torch in there n check piston tops for damage they'll prob just be black but if you can see shiney bits then their could have been contact.

Did you grease the alk when you fitted it. Poly bushes need a good coating of grease or they'll squeak. The rear is a funny one. Check to see if the calipers tight and make sure the sliders are free. It's common for the rear calipers to seize up.

Shame to see it come to this dude. But surely he was Tring to get a gb to get himself discount. That would be his gain so to speak? Did anybody else get involved and get refunded? I don't want to get involved as obviously I don't know all the details. But that's how I see it from an outside point of view.

The g6 box is from a 1.3 corolla so will bolt straight up. The g6r and levin 20v boxes are from 4a engines so will need the bell housings swapping over. The 20v 6 speed has really short gears. Mine was doing @8400 30 55 85 105 120 Not sure in 6th as I was limited still Put that on a 4e with 7500 limit and all you will see just how short they are
