  1. I'd guess later models had them too not just trd?
  2. Www.carbonmods.co.UK have carbon splitters starting at £220 for a complete kit and also do canards if your.interested.
  3. Not sure, saw a carbon one on a V a while back not sure if it was a universal one from carbonmods or something like that or custom. Otherwise can be made out of wood, some marine ply I remember someone making one out of? Not sure but carbon would look better ;)
  4. For me to get the track look you would need different wheels (not that these aren't nice, just not track look imo). Bonnet pins. a front splitter, the board type that protrudes from under the car with them little metal supports, plus some canards
  5. Yeah my last receipt was 37.71L the fuel light was still making its mind up to stay on of turn off but was on for the most part. So I'd say theres a max of a gallon left at that point. Lol
  6. I've got them on my car. 195/50/15. At a guess 6.5j around a 35-40mm offset. Had a bit of rubbing to start with, raised it 5-10mm on my bc's and it was fine on about mid way soft-hard. Now running 0.5 deg 6 clicks from soft on the front 4 from soft on the rear and about 22psi IIRC. Absolutely no rubbing what so ever. With no arch rolling at all... However the wheels do need spacing out to look good imo! This is how it sits height wise, could do with raising the rear a tad I think.
  7. Also that last tank, if you got 176miles between fill up was 25mpg ish.
  8. I wasn't saying you had a 38l tank just mearly using that quantity as an example. I've put 37l in mine before. They're are 40-42L tanks roughly
  9. So you know how bad that is I can get 250-270 on a run at 80-85, used to be better than that before I fitted the civic rad and open trumpets!
  10. I've got a 4age obx manifold, also got a 4age inlet sitting about could give that a measure if ya want?
  11. CR is 9.6, BUT it should be 11 - 1 ;)
  12. Thats shocking you need to get that checked out. I cant get mine down that low even when I beat on it. If you want to work out your mpg, fill up till the pump clicks off once, reset your trip, run it down low fill up again to one click. Take note of the litres I.e 38.4 Divide by 4.5 (about a gallon) That gives you how many gallons youve used this tank. 8.533 Now divide the trip reading by this number. Say 176 for example. 176/8.533 = 20.625mpg Litres/4.5 = gallons used Miles covered/Gallons used = mpg On a run id expect about 35-40 from an n/a. Id be checking for leaks if I were you.
  13. Make a 4age swap easier without having the brake master cylinder in the way!
  14. Do like modern cars do, get some of the carpet stuff they line the arches with on the outside will reduce a lot of road noise. Then a false floor should help with the rest.
  15. But the cams would go out of performance range before 8k, that's where the fhe cams would help, that or get some custom ground cams. Best gains for n/a tuning is raise the compression good set of cams and a decent map. The idea behind the small tb and small runners is to increase the velocity of the air, tocreate more torque and increase the town drivability, Which might loose a bit of power. So fitting the corolla or fte intake would slow it down (probably) loose torque but gain a bit of power. Again a bit of an opinion with no proof but just my thinking.
  16. I don't know I'm afraid, not sure if the 4e and 5e clearances are the same. But some one will know what they should be.
  17. The shims you would need to measure the clearances on. Some of the 4e ones might be alright but others you might need to get new ones ir just raid a scrappy for some that fit
  18. It's all going to be down to the map. Bolt ons and a map, maybe get a thinner h/g to bump up the compression a tad. 5efhe cams would probably help but they're like hens teeth
  19. 97-99 corolla runs 89hp revs to around 6.5k still. Tubular mani Injectors Map on the ecu Maybe exhaust mani are the only differences If you want to see 100 hp you will want a piggy back and a map with what else you've stated. I wouldnt worry about the injectors as there's no way you will max the stock ones out.
  20. Not true for all diffs, Levin LSD's need an input to to lock so that does work. Remove the cups. If there's a 10mm pin/bar across the hole through them then is non LSD if theres anything else then its an LSD of sorts.
  21. Mine was a similar price, as for oil I think I'm running some motul oil and a friction modifier, tried increasing the amount from a 1/4 to a full bottle n it never changed lol
  22. Might be worth a go but I think its just how bad they are. I did read that it because they weren't bedded in correctly making it much worse? As for the mounts wouldnt softer mounts absorb some of it? All I can say is for road they ain't very nice for track they are epic. Lol
  23. that will be the oil in the box thinning out as it warms up, the cusco is a plate diff so when its cold the oil will be harder to get out from then and as it warms up will quicker And harsher. Mine stays the same the whole time tbf though, needless to say I'm going to be removing mine when I get the motivation.
  24. They do, they have a mod check list on there website. Used them a few times before. Sky and flux are worth a shot both have been really good with me. Keith Michaels do modified cars and track insurance so might be worth a go as well. Admiral have also been really good.but was on a multicar policy at the time
  25. Starlet seats are far too upright and the wheel is too low in comparison (non adjustable doesnt help), feel like I'm sitting in my mums k12 micra its that bad. My Ae111 corolla and trueno are (were in the truenos case) so much better, you sit lower in the corolla on stock suspension than you do in the starlet on coilovers with recaros lol. Your feet stretch out to the pedals and you reach forward to the wheel rather than pushing and resting your arms down in the ep. Seat could easily be dropped 2-3" imo
