  1. What Dan said. Couple of new ball joints and track rod ends will help if they haven't been done in the last 5 years. Tyres are a must. Then an anti lift kit. And I'd consider doing the front wishbone bushes whilst you're at it. From there if you plan on running coilovers that's what I would get next. However if you budget allows. I strongly recommend getting an LSD easily the biggest confidence boost I've had in my car Imo the rear arb made no difference on my car as I already had coilovers and the 24mm whiteline one made it understeer more. I preferred it with the stock farb with
  2. A lot of mine was buying used parts then having to buy a decent set afterwards or buying/making parts that then needed upgrading or correcting. Patience helps and the old saying buy cheap buy twice. Are both things I've learnt since owning this car.
  3. 4efe went bang, 16v hi torque 4age swap had oil starvation problems. 16v 4age t-vis had numerous issues and never quite ran rightl snapped a driveshaft as well so had it off the road for over a year which is when I bought the 20v 4age from Japan and had a custom shaft made to correctly suit the engine swap.
  4. Less than 10k including buying it but not quite sure how much. not including tax and insurance though. 3 engine changes amongst that too lol Owned it 7 years in April, 3 years with its current engine.
  5. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a 3 point though? I think therrs a gap under it, could get a plate made up with the bolt holes in and weld that to the floor pan maybe?
  6. I cant see it being a problem tbh. The only advantage of running a glanza setup with an external coil is that you always have the option of upgrading it at a later date where as the internal one is stuck as it is. Coil on plug is good for various other things but for what you're planning I don't think its needed imo.
  7. If you plan on running a high rev limit coil on plug is advisable, but still not 100% needed. My 4age runs almost the same as a glanza setup and revs to 8400. And I've seen some people still using the dizzy upto 8700. After that maybe the ford edis system would be good to use, thats what quite a few people opt for on big spec 4age builds.

  12. I duno, can you get pictures from the back of them. You might need hubs as well, as some don't have carriers they mount directly to the hub
  13. Is that your front setup? Solid front discs? If so that's well random, all turbos have vented 18mm discs the same as the majority of n/a's You may need the hubs as well as the rest
  14. At no point has he said he gets 70mpg he said he gets it to a 10er. Which isn't accurate in the slightlest, fill your car up reset the mileage. Run it down and refill it. Then work out how much fuel you've used to cover the mileage you've done. That is the only accurate way you can work out your mpg. When you put a tenner in here and there, there is no way of telling how much fuel was in there before as the gauge just isn't that accurate
  15. Can get copies made and have an original set but its not for sale I'm afraid

    2jz?

A 2jz, gearbox and rear axle would be longer than the car, that's why it hasn't been done. Like I said be better off getting ya self a knackered ae86 and making all that gear fit.
