Yeah I agree its just that the t5's are wrong wheel drive and the rest are all tanks lol

Needs a 16v head, fuck off turbo, injectors, better fmic, exhaust and an ecu some $200 rods from the states and she'll be good for over 5-600hp ;)

still trying to persuade him to mod it. got an LSD as standard ;)
-
yeah you have to take these guys with a pinch of salt at times, gotta admit a 17yo coming on here claiming he's had a couple of cars that most of us at times dreamed of with a fairly heafty turbo etc is going to be hard to believe. then topped with the ali g body kits they were asking for a bit of ripping. take it in ya stride and get in an EP and make it a little cracker ;)

my car history is pretty shocking. first car, was also a field car. 1.0l 4 speed mums car that i was basically given once i past my test. 1.0l auto. still sits in the rents garden. then the starlet the day i picked it up. the donor car for the 1st engine conversion. borrowed this from the old man for a bit too. (wheels should be silver, dodgy powder coaters) limited edition 940 2.3 SE HPT the current lineup, although the trueno is now being broke.

yeah doors and boot probably do but i'm not going extreme. just thinking about making it a bit more lively but keeping it subtle wheels i have, they're around the 4kg's mark. windows are a possibility. might consider ditching the electric windows for manual if there was a huge difference but highly unlikely. @chris I've had it stripped and it is quite bad but for how often im using it atm its deffinately a possibility. wont ever be a full blown track car, not with me owning it anyway haha

something less common

the one used on the cover page for the progress blogs looks pretty mad.

well no real update just trying to decide what direction to take this next. currently im breaking my trueno that i spun into a post so have gained some tomie poncams and a EMB so they will be getting fitted. the cusco diff will be coming out and replaced with my Ae111 torsen diff at some point when i get the motivation along with fitting an electric Mr2 powersteering pump. then ideally i'd be looking at getting it mapped to see the gains from the cams and other mods together. im just trying to decide whether it needs stripping or not or whether i should just take the all the sound

5efhe---->5efhte project(oem ct9 build)
morgey replied to Adeeb1395's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
What he is saying is the n/a boys would pay good money for a set of 5efhe pistons. Because they are so rare. Swap them for normal 5efe pistons and go from there. Regarding 3sgte top mount. They are chargecoolers on the st205 gt4. That might be something to consider? -
Naa that doesn't matter, on the plug that goes on the auto box the 2 thickest wires need connecting together. That just tricks it into thinking its in neutral. Neatest but most time consuming way is to do it right at the ecu and then you can remove all the autobox wiring from the engine bay. You can also get rid of the aircon wiring if you feel like it.
-
Flywheel. Flywheel bolts (autos are shorter) Clutch kit Master and slave cylinders Clutch lines Selectors and cables Pedal Gearbox with release fork You will need to link the neutral start switch to trick the ecu into thinking its in park so it actually starts but that's about it.

Optional amp maybe, maybe central locking module, cant remember what it usually is but I've read of a few boxes under them. got any pictures?

bing bang... oil everywhere... dead engine?

Dipstick popped out? -
Not had rainsports yet but will be trying them on my daily when the time to change comes. mainly had t1r's but have ad08's on my starlet which are a brilliant tyre. 50's for me drive better a bit more give and slightly less skittish on bumpy roads, also seemed to have better traction on drives though corners

Digital gauges are hard to read quickly as dumb as it sounds, they flick and change in blocks if you get me (I've had a couple) You can glance at a dial and see where the needle is quickly whereas you have to read a digital one. Think how many car manufacturers use digital vs mechanical gauges. Not many, and the ones that do are usually recreating gauges and tend to be high end companies
-
Ooo close to mine, where about are you from?
-
I've got one but I've sold the clips so will need to use your ones.

I got one but I've sold the clips so would need to use your ones
-
I doubt you'd manage it on a daily road going starlet but on a track with the right tyres and boost by gear lc etc you could do it
-
I've seen them sell for anywhere between £350-600 I will hate you if you get some by the way, I've always thought to myself, te37's or A-tech erasers in bronze are what I've wanted for my Sr! Lol

If any of the central section is below the legal limit then basically its illegal. Like if someone's locked up on one spot. That tyres illegal yeah
-
It's either 2/3 or 3/4 of the tyre has to be above the legal limit. Basically the majority.
