Fans become inefficient over a certain speed and would infact reduce the cooling affect when higher speeds were reached. Probably not noticable though. Good for sitting in traffic or going sideways but not needed on our cars

Sweet! So glad to read that!

I've had mine spin up at the top end of 3rd before but there must have been something on the road for that. Normally mine hooks up in 2nd straight away, levin lsd or cusco. 1st is hard to judge as it depends on how you pull off or if you're rolling. 175hp 122lbft

It was about 10 years ago now, 1982 mk5 estate 1.6 in red. Had seat covers on its whole life so interior was nearly mint tbf. Came off the road a the chassis had a 2ft section rusted out, when we got our hands on it the boot panel was no longer connected to the rear 1/4 panel haha Also had Triumph acclaim 1.3 auto Renault savanna 1.7 estate Nissan sunny Escort mk4 Metro Mk3 astra Renault 5 1.4 Cortina was the best tho as its rwd!

Some Sr's are cheap. And theres Only small differences between them all like electric windows Adjustable steering column Dimmer lights dash Rev counter Rear headrests (maybe a centre one) Sun roof (optional extra on all models i believe) Then theres the trim colours which are all hideous unless you get the velour interiored one which i think is also the only one with rear center head rest.

Spec really, also forgot the sr ;) Gls is highest spec iirc

Yeah thats a door sensor, bottom of either door pillar is most likely. Might even have one in your boot that you caught
-
Like a quick beep beep beep or a single beep. Multiple beeps is the anti jack sensor, not sure why it would do that unless its faulty Single beep is a door not closed. So dodgey switch or maybe the one under the bonnets bent or broken so not getting pushed down?

98 rear bench, Calipers, braided lines, Gt wishbones more added
