I know what u mean, hasnt happened to me like this but my tool of a brother once left a brick in some long grass on a bank on my drive then proceeded to park his car in the way (weve got a HUGE drive and he parks so far up it he stops about 10 cars parking beyond him!!) forcing me up the bank to which the brick flicked up and put a nasty scratch in my wheel, i obviously wasnt impressed by his lazyness!!

This may be a dumb question but couldnt you just wedge the arm from the outside of the turbo holdin it in the closed postion? Or do they tend to creep open when the boost is turned up or something?

Finnaly got round to fitting my new gearbox over the last couple of weekends whilst hanging but got it out in about 3hours, wasnt too bad to do considering the lack of room, done it in the car just had to remove the two gearbox mounts and we were away Went pretty well apart from removing the speedo drive from my old gearbox, which i destroyed trying to remove but luckily i had another older gearbox to take the drive out of so that solved that problem! Test drive was good had a little crunch into 2nd when cold but seems to have gotten better as it warmed so might just have been the old oil but seems fine when warm. Genuinely suprised at how well the lsd affects the handling of the car, really pulls the car into the corner under throttle, also has shorter gears much more suited to the power range of the car revs drop to about 6500 between 2nd and 3rd so straight back into the peak power and torque so a noticable improvement all round and a very happy me Old box did speedo speed 35-38, 67, 97, 127-130 and no idea in 5th New 30-32, 62, 90, 122-124 and again no idea in 5th as speed stops at 120 being uk clocks (tested on private road obviously) Not bad for £110 and the thought that it was just an ordinary non lsd box Next on the list is a hi flow 3" sports cat for a bargain £20 (hopefully bring the volume of the exhuast down), rear anti roll bar an hks manifold This should be done befor 21st of august as i plan on getting it on track at snetterton for a 20min taster session to see how everything holds up Also got an mot on my daily tomorrow so fingers crossed it passes lol Morgey

Its is a good read The subaru justy is a 4wd from factory, so its basically the same sort of job as doing the conversion to ep95 or 85, they have a viscous coupling similar to the ep's which he removed meaning all the power was making it to the rear rather than just 20% and then welded the diff to make sure it could handle the extra power. The plans for it now are to enjoy it, so weve got a teaser session at snetty on the 21st for a scrub down for both our cars then we shall be looking out for cheap trackdays to go on Ill show him this post when i next see him and ill let him ammend any details or enlighten people on his car some more

I was going to plate up the rear quarter panels and put some speakers in there, in the end i put the interior back in and am now reppin the stock parcel shelf speakers lol

Thats cars mate, id say fix it, i recon most people on here have had points when they just want to sell up but i bet everyone who kept at it is glad they did! I know i am, i get so much enjoyment from my car, probably more than if it hadnt have gone bang 3 times as i just upgraded to better parts when it went wrong lol

Its is not in the fuse box under the dash or the one in the engine bay? The airbag ecu is mounted ontop of the channel under the dash, so check that the plugs are in place, check all the screws went back in the back of the clocks as these may supply power to the srs light (assuming they got removed fitting the dials)
