This may be a dumb question but couldnt you just wedge the arm from the outside of the turbo holdin it in the closed postion? Or do they tend to creep open when the boost is turned up or something?

Finnaly got round to fitting my new gearbox over the last couple of weekends whilst hanging but got it out in about 3hours, wasnt too bad to do considering the lack of room, done it in the car just had to remove the two gearbox mounts and we were away Went pretty well apart from removing the speedo drive from my old gearbox, which i destroyed trying to remove but luckily i had another older gearbox to take the drive out of so that solved that problem! Test drive was good had a little crunch into 2nd when cold but seems to have gotten better as it warmed so might just have been the old oil b

Its is a good read The subaru justy is a 4wd from factory, so its basically the same sort of job as doing the conversion to ep95 or 85, they have a viscous coupling similar to the ep's which he removed meaning all the power was making it to the rear rather than just 20% and then welded the diff to make sure it could handle the extra power. The plans for it now are to enjoy it, so weve got a teaser session at snetty on the 21st for a scrub down for both our cars then we shall be looking out for cheap trackdays to go on Ill show him this post when i next see him and ill let him ammend any d

I know i am, i get so much enjoyment from my car, probably more than if it hadnt have gone bang 3 times as i just upgraded to better parts when it went wrong lol

Lmao!! Im just imagining myself doing this now

Its is not in the fuse box under the dash or the one in the engine bay? The airbag ecu is mounted ontop of the channel under the dash, so check that the plugs are in place, check all the screws went back in the back of the clocks as these may supply power to the srs light (assuming they got removed fitting the dials)

Haha i did actually spell it dredd but it looked wrong so i changed it to the "correct" spelling And sorry my bad on raid im not a massive film fan just that its of asian descent so took a guess lol

Bump for an old thread, Saw batman the other day, it was alright but needed to be a 15 and a bit more gory and violent id rather have seen an epic gun battle between the cops and mercs rather than a punch up even tho they all seemed to have guns :/ Films to see for me are Nitro circus 3D />http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QnjWfBAI-PE jackass eat your heart out!!! Taken 2 liam neeson on a mad one = epic Dread (remake of judgedread) looks like theyve taken the raid redemption (chinese film about some elite cops raiding a drug lords house) and gone to town on it Total recall for obvious r

If the throttles closed its trying to draw air in thru a small space, so wouldnt be able to get enough air in in time creating vaccuum basically, try it again open, might be suprised with the difference it can make sometimes

Im sure he'll be glad to hear the congrats guys Yup suzuki 1.3 with forged pistons t28 turbo of some description, loads of custom stuff (by him mostly) then mounted to the subaru justy chassis, which is the same as an ep*5 to us so just drops in with a custom clutch, then removed the viscous coupling and weld the rear diff and youve got 0-60 in nearly 4secs Really is good to see the car getting the credit all his hard work has gone towards

I found them fairly desent for stock springs tbh nice and progresive so comfy but resonable handling, i think sr's have better shocks than most uk starlets aswel tho ;)
