Standard N/A EP91 - where to start with handling?
morgey replied to Xpect's topic in Chassis & Suspension
What about front brace and rear ARB? I think the rear arb would be more noticable than rear brace? -
Thought id do this just for anybody looking to fit a tacho to there car. I needed one as mine only goes to 7k yet my engine goes to 8-8.5k rpm or something I can only guarentee this for ep91's with a rev counter fitted at standard. Firstly i purchased a £15 3 digit rev meter from ebay thats 1000, 100, 10's so 557 would be 5,570rpm accurate enough for my needs considering my stock counters 200rpm over anyway :/ i cant see there being any problems with a analog revcounter should be the same as this one, but remember always read the instructions that come with your gauge as they may differ f

Brand new BC Coilovers and my tyres are scrubbing out fast. ??
morgey replied to Ct9's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Mine are fine, but i had my tracking done soon after fitting, but lowering your car will put the tracking out as the trackrods will be set to the original ride height of the car, and in lowering they will either push or pull them out of align ;) -
Ahh ill have to check them out, cheers

Downloaded a free version of rhino over the weekend, seems to be the full version but only has 25 saves until i goes into basic version, so going to have to sit down an read through the tutorials. Need to work out how all this scripting works and a few of the basic commands first then try making some simple designs then slowly build myself up to the complex stuff. Can see me getting quite confused with it all

Was in a local town being a lil ricer, gave it some gas in 2nd upto 4k about 30mph just where it really barks then shifted to 5th and the 5-0 hiding in a garage just overlooked my car and thought it was my mate in his mitsi mirage cyborg, so he got pulled whilst i snuck out of town mwhaha He didnt get fined or anything after they realised they got the wrong person Thats it realy just find it highly amusing

Does this fit/clip into the old air bag connectors or somewhere else? As the previous owner of my car desided it would be an amazing idea to chop up all the airbag wiring and taping over the light, leaving me to remove the light and have no airbag at all!!

Yeah ill have a look around see if i can get a copy. I know it seems silly and a big cost tbh we mainly got it because the m.d is planning on moving onto tool design, but we also have a company that we work close to which uses it, so they can send us designs over and we can do what we need to do with them, it also means if or when our m.d is teaching himself he can call up and ask how somethings done so easier reference, and we can also transfer tooling paths onto our 3axis CNC mills (hurco) to do all the 3d tooling to either the main job or electrodes for spark eroding. But most our jobs a

Yeah we actually have that at work, im not sure why as knowone can really use it properly lol, problem is i get looked at as the bitch so i doubt very much theyd consider letting me use it, hence why i figured if i can get some basic skills together through free/cheap software, impress the bosses abit then maybe theyd help fund some sort of course/training program If i manage to wing some use on it ill be sure to hit you up though man cheers!

basically this is something that interests me a fair bit, i have to work from technical drawings working in a tool makers/machine shop and i figured it would be nice to be able to do it for myself. im currently pissing about on google sketchup (freebee for beginers) but its a very limited program and feels like its missing some really needed features, that or i havent managed to find them yet. basically if i feel like its something i can get my head around it, ill be looking into some proper education into it so i can get qualified in something for a change lol i breezed over it (autocad) in
