  1. not sure if its the same colour but heres a link to the glanza colour guide http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?app=ccs&module=pages&section=pages&id=2&record=23 but if it is the colours Azure Blue 8K9
  2. Cheers buh The fitting wasnt that bad once you get over the idea of chopping your car up, it was mounted in a day! it was everything thats involved to get it drivable, driveshafts, wiring (althought that was shedloads easier the 2nd time round when we new what we were doing) Then all the little bits here and there lol
  3. I recon ill be up for this, got a new manifold and gearbox and guna let some air out the tyres, 15.05 to beat! Lol
  4. Yeah worth ago but like you say if the rest are working its prob not a fuse. If your clocks dodgy could possibly be an earth but I doubt they use the same one. The motor isnt too bad to change but I did break part of the plastics that spread the light across the dials on mine :/
  5. Nice little motor! Looks like the blue that you can get glanza's in. Check the wiki section think theres a brochure for them in there ;)
  6. Ahh ok, yep fuse is under the steering wheel, worth checking them with a multimeter as sometimes u cant tell if theyve blown. Not sure if the signal comes straight from the distributer or if it goes through the ecu 1st Theres also the fusebox in the engine bay but I dont know what in there could affect it. The only other thing is a bad earth or the stepper motor for the counters fubar'd. I have got a set paseo dials in bits you could have the motor from them if you want to try it?
  7. Bump
  8. As above I need the small plastic clip that the front indicator pushes into. Can paypal or bank transfer Cash waiting Cheera Morgey
  9. Just found this, wikipedia to the rescue lol />http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_C_transmission#section_3 Lists loads of boxes with lsd options, aplications, and ratio's ;)
  10. Plug not connected or fuse blown? What mods u got, deeerty ricer tacho? Or an ecu or piggy back that may also use the signal? Have you had the clocks out for anything resently? More info the better ;)
  11. Well they're all c series boxes but the gear ratio's differ depending on car and even the year of the box. 5speed C52 is corolla ae82-92 4efe and 4age 16v and ae101 4age 20v and I think ep82 C56 early 111 4age 20v (non bzr) and 96spec ep91 C56 spec 2 had a different gearbox housing and had shorter ratios in the levins (maybe fitted to 98spec ep91's also) 6speed C??? Ae111 1.3 4efe g6 C160 ae111 4age bzr and uk spec 4afe SR's and g6® C??? the ae112 t-sports and zz112? 190 celicas but these differ from the ae111 boxes as they are stronger so not sure if there a diff no box or not This isnt necessarily correct as if just bits and bobs I've peiced together and isnt going to really help alot of people but as far as im aware any 'C' series box will bolt up to any bell housing, so if you brought a c160 from a corolla t-sport you could split your box and use the bellhousing to attach to the c160 box and away you go!
  12. You could swap the bellhousing with your current box, then it might fit if they actually swapped over but im not sure on that. But yeah them boxes are crap anyway most people convert to a 5spd
  13. A bzr box wont bolt up as its an 'a' series engine. Also those boxes are forever destroying themselves even on stock engines and clutches so I deffinately wouldnt risk having one! Oh they run the same clutches as glanza's 212mm also the same as late 4age and 2zzge motor'd cars ;)
  14. Thats because a surge of power feels quicker than a nice smooth linear power delivery, even if there making the same power. Chances are the smoother one would be thr quicker car ;)
  15. plastic clip the indicator pushes into?
  16. i get the jump on the 231ps from 20-30ish upto 80-90 then by 100mph theyve the edge on me. but im 167hp but will be less torque than you boosted guys ;) so would be swings and roundabouts i recon
  17. Ill sort out pics later mate I also have a glanza v 98spec rear bench and front doorcards (without the pockets or ellecy window switches) for sale but this will need the clips in the floor to fit the bench, any glanza breaker should have these though. The doorcards are also darker grey than the ukspec interior
  18. Think I've got some sr seats laying around. £20 plus postage + paypal?
  19. just a few small bits really, picked up a 5spd levin gearbox off the bay for £110 went to brum for it on my week off get home and had a quick check online on the ae111 forum and it turns out its the standard levin lsd box! F**king WIN! also got the all the bits from toyota for the cambelt and started putting it together but then desided rather than using the one use hydraulic cambelt tensioner (which can also retract) it would make sence to convert the old one to a reusable manual tensioner. So after a quick bit of research into how other people have done it i set about making my own. pretty simple just cut the bottom of the old tensioner off yank out the internals leaving just the old pin, make a plug with a threaded hole through it to fit in the inside of the tensioner, lock it in place with some pins and grub screws then grab a long bolt and some locknuts, jobs done! the finished article bolts in place of the original and you just use the bolt to wind onto the tensioner assembly, when the belt is tight enough lock it in place with the 2 locknuts! something I've ment to get pics of is this, the radiator setup i have had so much fun bleeding the last few days aswel, the problem is the outlet is to close to the inlet on the rad so a stupid pipe had to be used, as you can see the air has got to go down before it can get out! not going to happen lol In the end i had to take the heater matrix pipes off and the rad cap and pour coolant into the h/matrix pipes and the air finally came out! next on the list was replace the old gti-16 grill badge with something a little bit more appropriate so ebay to the rescue, purchased a TRD grill badge, half expecting a cheap plastic thing to turn up but instead its a nice solid metal item! i also got some clear indicator lense's so i finally get to replace - these with these but i desided i didnt like the look of the grey plastic underneath so off they came again and out came the black spray paint..... so now they look like... this not very noticable in the pictures but it is better in the flesh right so thats about it really, the manifold still isn't finished because the guy who was going to weld it, unfortunatly lost his nephew in a bike accident a few hours before he was going to go out for a ride with him. so im giving him some time to come to terms with his lost and clear his head abit. other than that I've given the cars a good clean and polish, gave the recaro's a clean and put the badge i took off the starbo on the corolla just because i was bored this is before i cleaned the corolla though. as usual all comments welcome
  20. yeah the 6th gear is a narrower gear on them box's so cant stand any major power its the same story as the 4age 6spd box's, the later c160 box's fitted to the 2zzge's had a stronger 6th gear but im not sure if it can even be made to fit a 4e
  21. alrite i need the little plastic clip that holds the front indicator in place, underneath/behind the indicator it needs removing to get at it. let us know if you've got one cheers ;)
  22. Its strangley addictive considering its 400m straight line race, been meaning to get mine back down there! Gota crack the 14's my pb earlier this year was 15.05 @ 95.9mph 2.7 60ft but as was running 32psi tyre pressure. I also had loads of wheel hop or spin, shoulda let them down to mid teens would have helped a fair bit! Its worth going on a general rwyb as you should get unlimited runs for £25-35 rather than 3-4 for the same price
  23. Cool, mines not on the car so thats not a problem. Just seen the PM! cheers dude ill have to check that out
  24. That shifter extention is cool I must ask tho, All this and your still repping stock 98spec seats?are you using velcro to hold yourself in?
