I thought the idea of wettin it was to stretch it so when it dried it shrunk n pulled tight?

So I was trancing about the bay looking for crap as you do, had my eye out for a different/newer box for my car and come across a 5speed 20v box from a 98 levin for sale for £110. Now the info on it was quite limited but did one of them stupid things and brought it anyway. Now my plan was to fit an lsd to it but upon looking at the ae111 forum it would appear its actually got the standard helical lsd in it already! Im still going to crack it open and check it over and find out for sure but from the looks things could be promising Anyway gloat over

i might know of a complete 5e with box etc out of a sera for about £300ish if you are interested i can try chase the said person up? -
cheers fella its worth getting new ones just incase they get damaged etc on removing them, and not yet im waiting on some more wrap to get delivered hopefully on thursday i think. but this is a better manifold than my old one so ther'll be a big difference between them anyway so wont be able to comment on the wrap itself im affraid

I've used about 7-8meters doing 2 runs on my mani, but its a lot longer than a turbo. heres a pic of mine. unfortunately the runners are so close together you can fit the wrap between them so i had to go past it and then come back over and now I've got the uneven wrapping on the 2nd runner. but theres nothing i can do about it :/

im in the process of wrapping my hks manifold for my 4age, I've heard you get better throttle responce, but the main reason im doing mine is you reduce under bonnet temperatures as i have itb's at the back of the bay and any air going to them passes directly over the manifold. it is a pain to do, but im getting there. got another roll on order from fensport. figured that they should have some fairly desent stuff since they mostly run turbo'd cars so should be fine for my n/a any tips for wrapping hit up youtube aswel ;) like soak it in water when wrapping it as it stretches when wet then shrinks and tightens when it drys

Item Condition: Excellent, near mint! Price and price conditions: £85 o.n.o collected or + postage + 4% paypal Extra Info: Very good condition, will make a great upgrade from uk spec seats. theres a couple of light creases from them being stacked on stuff in my shed and there is slight mark/stain on the passenger side lower bench near the back (see pic) i have no doubt that this can be removed with a small amount of effort. i never fitted the bench as by the time i got the clips i came across a set of recaros. *doorcards will come without pockets or window switches. zebedee has a set of pockets if people require them* **uk spec cars will need the clips from a glanza as uk spec use's a different method to mount** Pictures: drivers door passengers Contact Details: please PM or text on 07990708955 Location: Watton norfolk, near norwich

Ther'll get hot but prob not hot enough to boil the brake fluid. I had a sticking rear caliper and that barely got hot enough to smell bad not like the fronts where a good period of spirited driving can make em smell lol
-
Discs are better for cooling, but I doubt very much your guna get the drums or discs on a starlet particularly hot anyway.

I wont be on for the next few days I doubt, gota make the most of this 4 day weekend

I remade my loom because of my conveesion so made sence to. The separate earthing shouldnt have needed doing as it should earth through the chassis but mine didnt :s

pick it up and move it... relocated with mine i did it in quite a crued/bodged way, unsure if I've changed it now though. but basically i run a heavy duty power lead down the passengers side of the car, up through the bulk head and then put an eye/ring fitting on the end then did the same to the power supply to original battery terminal and connected them together with a bolt. wrapped them in tape job done. but since then we've remade my wiring loom and i think we've changed that now. i did see on a civic at JAE he had a positive and negative terminal bolted through the bulk head that he ran his power supply to (boot mounted battery and power supply to therm and then old battery connections sent there aswel supplying the enginebay as usual) they also doubled up as jump starting terminals! i couldnt find any when i was looking though i also ran a earthing suply down my drivers side as mine wasnt earthing though the chassis very well, so i just joined aload of eathing points together along the drivers side hiding all the leads under the plastics etc, you cant tell there even there now
