  1. yea all you really need is the caliper carriers from it, then the discs, pads etc u require, also braided lines and new fluid would go a miss. then also try a brake master cylinder stopper ;)

  7. do you plan on going 4efte eventually? if so spend some extra, 256mm from a turbo are a lil bit better but nothing amazing. I've got them ebc yellows and ebc discs. braided lines and 5.1 fluid and 900kg car, and my daily corolla 1100kgs on oem mintex pads and discs also 256mm stops almost as well!! i want to go for levin twin pots or bigger celica single pots. bit of hassle but seems to be worth it from what most people seem to say
  8. a mk4 r32 is 240 hp 4wd and 17 tonnes a mk5 260 and 21 tonnes, a stock ep3 will walk all over one of them, they aint nothing special lol

Quite an under estimated car the ep3's, given u know what your doing, stick a k24 in there with a few mods n ecu, it will look the same as a k20 but can push 300+ bhp plus stick nos on them and urll be talking a low 13 high 12 second car if not quicker. Otherwise the ep3 driver doesnt know whatd done to his car lol
  11. Tbh looking at what youve got space wise. the under slam panel rad looks like the best option and will look cool at the same time. Altho a slightly angled turbo wud work on a 4e I guess that lil extra height of the 5e has kinda shot u in the foot so to speak regarding spacing between turbo n slam panel.
  12. There the two smaller pipes leading into the bulkhead just behind and below the throttle body roughly, they come from the side of the engine near the thermostat. P.s if the valve is closed and you cant open it becoz the cables disconnected, flushing it wont work, so might be worth locating that aswel to try working it as someone flushes it.
  13. i think only 98 specs were electric, im not sure but i think there all under the dash, you will have to stick your head under the dash and try follow it with your hand i guess. and like he said try blow or flush out the heater matrix, but u will need to bleed/topup the coolant system afterward obviously
  14. has this just started or been like it a while, the cables could have came off the other end. on the valve for the temperature, and on the flap for the direction controls. have you checked your water level. if you have a leak and your coolants very low then you wont have any heat as thers no water to transfer it around

  18. Tbh I thought its was pretty desent for stock suspension, maybe do with a bit more camber up front and stiffen up the arb + fit a rear one and it would be a good daily driver, but im on coilys now so cant really say all that much haha

  20. Get them to cut off the old flange and put one of there flanges on the engine side then u will have a universal flange that they can supply and fit parts to. Simples Oh by the way "flange" hehehehe
  21. No its not unfortunately, but the 16v design does mean it likes to be rev'd a lil bit, but nothing like the honda vtec or toyota 4age 20v ;) If you keep it a fair while its always worth considering the turbo engine, after youve built you no claims up a fair bit that is!

Cheers guys I keep looking at crystals but atm its money I dont need to spend, likewise with idrees's tte front lip he took his mould from, which I was guna have until I realised I had a few payments going out Hopefully when she's back together ill get my a few of my mates together and we can make a few flyby vids Na no turbo for this, I desided I wanted N/A and thats how its staying, if I was intending on boost I would have 4efte'd it, so instead bigger cams 0.8mm trd headgasket and an ecu and I should be looking towards 190+hp but I may need to swap my rods for my old late spec 16v ones, as these ones are a weaker design One thing on the list is an lsd box thats for sure haha

  25. theres 3 problems with the under dash speakers 1 the size 2 the way there facing 3 theres nothing forcing the sound out, if anything the grate/grill is stopping the sound and forcing it behind the dash. the speakers need to be enclosed from behind to force the sound/air out and also help the bass abit i just had a friend cup the back of one of mine and it made a noticable difference. think of almost any speakers, there almost always enclosed, usually with a port aswel facing forwards aswel. ;)
