morgey replied to sharki_p9's topic in Lifestyle General
looks good some nice cars and sweet pics aswel -
get some pictures of the plugs, that way people can see what sensor it is you require and will be able to help you out easier, or atleast let us know what engine you have and roughly what year its from. manufactures are always changing to cheaper designs so plugs will no doubt change ;)
-
id agree, from an mr2 at a guess as the writing is the wrong way round for it to be from a front engined car!
-
Im the same, nothing expensive for me, I gathered as he was breaking a car hed be busy with loads of bits so im not too worried.
-
Erm... I want what there on!
-
its worth ago mate, when you pack the doors gaps out try get it as close to the front as possible and tape over around the lip of the door and door shut, i then rolled abit of paper up and shut that in there just to avoid overspray on the inside of the doorshuts aswell. main thing is to take your time on it basically. i drove around for a week with one painted and one grey haha
-
i did mine on the car. tape around them tightly, think i used an old bank card to get it right in around them, then get a newspaper and cover half the car in it and tape over all the gaps near to the rubstrips to stop overspray lol. open the doors and do inside them and also at the front of the door needs packing out where your going to spray. then rough up the strips with some 400-600 paper wipe clean with damp cloth, leave to dry, then go wild lol i was chuffed with how mine came out just took a little bit of time
-
tbh i think n/a's look better with glanza rears without the lip, just colour code the bump strips job done
-

a few of my friends have had them but been hassled by the 5-0, try it till you get pulled for them worst case, prob a £30 fine and told to change them. otherwise just a slap on the wrist lol

Im trying to do it online, but need the renewal reminder or the logbook which i cant find i bet they'd manage to fine me in an instant if i hadnt had realised i had no tax aswel!
-
Anybody else had this, theres me and 2 other people local to me that havnt had a renewal letter though. its more annoying than anything as now I've got to find my car doc's to tax it online (which seem to have also disapeared lol)

I had greenstuff pads on 3g discs and flushed all the old fluid out on my n/a setup and they were really good, upgraded to fte setup with yellow stuff on ebc discs and dot 5 fluid and wouldnt say they werr an awful.lot bettet tbh. Id deffinately save for a celica or levin setup if id had known how little difference there was. P.s sorry for the spelling on my phone and have fat fingers

Gear box casing question and differant box question
morgey replied to abbott's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
Its might just be an older box, I have a c52 box now from a 91 4age that has an alloy cover, but newer ones on 4afes came with steel covers. Cant tell you the differences but id guess the ratios would be different. They may also use different cv joints on the turbos? -
I think I have a pair of old 98 spec na calipers laying about, might need to clean them up abit but cover postage n u can habe them. If I can find them lol

What do you work next too?
