Get some pics of the shocks and springs up. You never can tell, but you have to remember youve gone from a big wollowy beast that rolls and floats over bumps with huge tyres to absorb shocks aswell, to a tin can with no weight thats 17yo at the newest so suspension could be old and worn out or do to the old design just how it is and you're not used to it
One sets oem 2 are copies with added bump strip bits. Im keeping a copied set, unsure on the oem ones atm The guy can make other coloured ones aswell but need to have a word with mods about selling them atm as i dont plan on making any thing on them but he can do them for £30
The cold weather will kill you mpg, every year my corolla's mpg plummets to low 30's atm its at 28 :/ shocking but give it a few more weeks and that will be back up to mid to high 30's
I've looked into this and what i can gather, Its nearly the same as importing from europe You need to buy the car, take it to the docks fill in forms pay some fees there ship it over fill more forms in maybe pay more fees. Then somewhere between all this it needs registering as a uk car so more money on doing this. Its a lot of hassle. Much easier buying from northern ireland lol
Well I've just been watching some rallying thing on tv about colin mcrae n the speedlines he was using were just stickers so duno they must do both lol
Naa other countries got black ones, oz deffo does i saw a few when i was out there. Strange that someone imported one half way around the world tho lol
Yea the recaro bench is a fixed back, the 98 is split so find a uk spec or 98 spec breaking and ask for the brackets id ask for all 3 just incase theres a difference
98 spec backs are split so migjt need the extra hinge in the middle of them both, (uk cars are split aswel) the bottom bench on 98's have the 4 metal loops underneath that push into some rectangular plastic lugs. Not sure what system the 96 spec use there though
Well the 2nd set is for sale if you want them dude, the spacing is a little closer between the red and green teardrops on the copies but its not that bad at all
Yeah he can make more no problem dude. Only be about £30 + postage the bits to the right are infills for the sides stickers where the bump strips are, they can be stuck on the bump strip so it looks less like they were an after thought I've only got them for the new sticker sets a the difference in colour
Yaris's are a good car, little small but if its only for 2 people would be fine, another option Phase 1 corolla t-sport 02-03, 190hp and can be picked up for like £1200-1600 fairly easily. Not sure what insurance is like tho lol
Just been and collected my SR decal set from my friend. Thought id would be rude to only have one set made 2 new sets with added bump strip stickers and my genuine set at the top and the two smaller ones are on the bottom right. They still have the protective skin on the copies and they are also a slightly different shade of green more like the castrol green imo
