  1. From northern ireland no its classed as uk/britain no tax import etc, but southern it needs to be classed as imported unfortunately not part of uk etc insurance blah blah becomes more of a chore but it can be done
  2. The other thing is, the phono output in the back of your head unit, some are sub only outputs an some are front/rear speaker outputs, make sure you have your phono leads pluged into the rear phono outputs otherwise you may find you wont get the full range of sound sent to the amp ;) Also what head unit have you got someone may have a similar one and can help you out with the settings on that aswel
  3. You are correct, but what garage actually checks if there aint no bottle or pipes then they wont notice 3" of pipe looped over, plus i have a friendly mot tester ;) haha
  4. as i said before, bastard lol just needs a 4age in there and keep it stock, ultimate sleeper ;)
  5. this is exactly the reason i havnt gone looking for a non p/s rack, I've just disconnected mine and looped the pipes, i think my rack is now on its last legs tho :/
  6. 23, but i work in the same town as i live, so until i change my job im not looking for a house, theres also no point me moving miles away from where i work as id then be spending more money on fuel lol all about living at home, even if i dont get everything done for me lol, im sure ill soon change my mind when i get a missus
  7. tbf I've got the money for good deposite on a house but i dont want one, i dont see the fascination on being skinted out by buying a house within 5 miles of my parents, more so when i can live at home for free
  8. this />http://pistonheads.com/sales/3887944.htm on a serious note, id consider my mates s2000, J's racing titainium exhaust sounds gawjus did have loads of extras incl spoon hardtop and mugen brakes but couldnt get insurance with everything on it />http://pistonheads.com/sales/3981264.htm
  9. You dont get rear lower braces as our cars have a rear beam, or do you mean the lower of the 2 rear braces, being the strut top brace? I fitted one to mine and tbh cant say I've noticed it
  10. Haha worked mine out for the last tank 32.5mpg not too shabby for a weekend of ricing about heavily
  11. Ahh I've seen you out down thetford in this, v nice tidy car, well worth the money! GLWTS dude
  12. What about front brace and rear ARB? I think the rear arb would be more noticable than rear brace?
  13. Thought id do this just for anybody looking to fit a tacho to there car. I needed one as mine only goes to 7k yet my engine goes to 8-8.5k rpm or something I can only guarentee this for ep91's with a rev counter fitted at standard. Firstly i purchased a £15 3 digit rev meter from ebay thats 1000, 100, 10's so 557 would be 5,570rpm accurate enough for my needs considering my stock counters 200rpm over anyway :/ i cant see there being any problems with a analog revcounter should be the same as this one, but remember always read the instructions that come with your gauge as they may differ from this ;) So first disconnect the battery, (safety first) then start to remove the clocks, thats the 2 screws on the up side of the surround fiddle this out, then the 3 around the clock, at thi point i disconnected my speedo cable in the engine bay to allow me to pull my clocks forward enough to undo the 3 plugs one top right behine the fog and right indicator lights one just to the left of central and one top left above the fuel and temp gauge. Once these are off you should have enough movemet to turn the clocks to remove the speedo cable, i broke mine but its not the end of the world a small cable tie around the base on assembly will hold it on fine ;) lol Now the fun part, removing the clocks if you can lower your steering colunm, if you cant remove the steering cowl and you should be good, if you still struggle remove the steering wheel aswel Once out turn to the back and you'll be left with this Pretty simple really Red = positive your power supply Blue = negative earth probably black on your guage Yellow = signal on mine in was green but instructions said blue lol And for those of you using an analog guage you might need a switched light supply or if your not that bothered Just wire the light into the same power supply as the power feed (red circle) otherwise, trace the supply to one of the back lights wire it in and hey presto job done, now you gota fiddle it all back together reconnect the battery and test it! And the finished product Hope this is of some use to someone otherwise i just spent precious not thinking time thinking
  14. Oh you will also need the steering column i think, im not sure if they all bolt it to the dash in the same place (diff mounting points maybe?)
  15. Base model uk spec ep91's didnt have p/s so gota find one of them, im unsure whether ep8* model racks are with 91's
  16. Weather depening sit in a tiny room ignoring the people around me, or do the same thing outside and watch the world pass by :/ not very exciting but not much you can do in 30mins
  17. Mine are fine, but i had my tracking done soon after fitting, but lowering your car will put the tracking out as the trackrods will be set to the original ride height of the car, and in lowering they will either push or pull them out of align ;)
  18. Ahh ill have to check them out, cheers
  19. Downloaded a free version of rhino over the weekend, seems to be the full version but only has 25 saves until i goes into basic version, so going to have to sit down an read through the tutorials. Need to work out how all this scripting works and a few of the basic commands first then try making some simple designs then slowly build myself up to the complex stuff. Can see me getting quite confused with it all
  20. mine with my one leg'd guard chicken
  21. Maybe its 7.5lb's my 4age one is 8.08lbs and is around 4kgs
  22. Its quite lucky really as my exhausts quite loud aswel but as im reppin the oem TTE tailpipe it looks nice and subtle and easily gets overlooked where as the mitsi has a 3" jap can
  23. Was in a local town being a lil ricer, gave it some gas in 2nd upto 4k about 30mph just where it really barks then shifted to 5th and the 5-0 hiding in a garage just overlooked my car and thought it was my mate in his mitsi mirage cyborg, so he got pulled whilst i snuck out of town mwhaha He didnt get fined or anything after they realised they got the wrong person Thats it realy just find it highly amusing

    rear caliper

A rebuild kit from camskills for bothsides is £46 which might be an idea, unless u need a new piston that is
  25. Does this fit/clip into the old air bag connectors or somewhere else? As the previous owner of my car desided it would be an amazing idea to chop up all the airbag wiring and taping over the light, leaving me to remove the light and have no airbag at all!!
