  3. I wana swap my gearbox n fit my new mani! Lol
  4. I used bullet connectors on mine no sealing necessary ;)
  5. I thought it was 205 satin black metallic lol thats what my local toyota told me haha
  6. This is weird as i brought two different n/a cowls which didnt fit my sr but i brought one from a glanza along with all the other interior plastics and the glanza one fitted perfect :s It was from a 98 spec glanza not sure if this makes a difference?
  7. Yeah basically the kit comes with a sheet of carbon and all the resin so you are sticking the carbon over the mirror then a thin layer of resin sand it back abit then a thick layer of resin, which you then smooth over and then gloss up. So theoretically it should look like a carbon part
  8. Not sure on this diff but some wont lock unless power is being fed too then from the gearbox likewise with both wheels in the air, it may seem like a standard open diff i.e rotating in oposite directions but on the floor both wheels gettin fed power it should lock both or switch between the two powered wheels. Diffs might also make torque steer worse as of both wheels are locked or switching between the two one might still have better traction say on a half wet road you would get thrown about abit by this! Well this is what I've read so could be complete b*llox lol
  9. You can buy under dash ariels if you really want, never tried them tho
  10. Im waiting for him to finish his but until hes done it i was wondering if anybody has done it and had good results lol
  11. One of my dub mates is giving this ago, a few vids on youtube of how tos etc />http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/ Hes covering his mirrors and mounting plates and as its real carbon you cant tell its just wrapped oem parts
  12. Welcome along dude and happy 4th of july!
  13. You slack mofo!! it was 180 miles for me, oh and whats with petsworth that is a proper random little village you get sent through lol by the way the roads round your way are epic!!
  14. It should be a cnc machined flywheel so ahould be very good, mines fine unbalanced. Maybe an engine mount or loose bolt or two somewhere?
  15. Not sure where to put these but im sure heres a fairly suitable place as any. So after very luckily getting a pair of free tickets for the thursday of Goodwood, this was the moving motor show day, so no racecars going up the hill but there was still an awful lot of cars there and a few loud f1 cars and nascars putting on a show lol. i also learnt not to trust the weather on iphones forecast for heavy rain and storms and it was perfect sunshine all day anyway heres a few pics i got, enjoy honda S800 2 stroke and revs to 11k the toyota stand Ra
  16. Most ppls burn off and go white unfortunately i just got white and left it as is
  17. Cost wise, headgasket rings and whilst your at it valve stem seals, as a minimum! Not sure if the head bolts need replacing or if there reusable. A genuine gasket set from toyota which will have everything to rebuild the head will be £100-120 at a guess rings prob a similar amount if genuine, it would prob be cheaper to get a 2nd hand engine and dump that in there ;)
  18. Mine did this after fitting a rrfpr, bore washed and killed my rings! Onwards an upwards dude!!
  19. These are just the stand passes right, we'd still need to buy our tickets on the gate right?
  20. The wipers might be a little connector block between the motor and the rest of the main loom i think i tried removing mine an they stopped working its just a few inches of wiring with a few lumps wrapped in plastic? You still got them in place? Is the ecu earthed, im guessing its bolted down so should be? Also you checked the fuse box up front the relay or fuse named DOME if this is kaput then u wont have any ecu signal
  21. This is for 4age engines but as far as im aware should apply to glanzas aswel />http://www.evoscan.com/technical-vehicle-manuals/157-toyota-self-diagnosis-codes
  22. Theres a diagnostics port in the engine bay, small black box about 2'' x 1'' an you need to bridge two of the ports together, something like te1 and e1 but dont quote me on this just yet, ill have a quick look n find out for sure! Then you just turn the ignition on and the engine light should flash. If its a constant then its fine if its flashing and stopping then its throwing up a code Ill have a quick look for the proper procedure for this n link you to it in a few mins
  23. Any codes coming up on the ecu? Aka u done a diagnostics on it?
  24. Is the coil earthed out, i tried firing mine up with it cable tied to something but it turns out it needed bolting to the chassis for it to work
  25. You mean the lad right up against the bails here lol Looks like you had a good veiw of it! Must say even tho i only went to the thursday which didnt have any race cars going up it was still a great day out!
