Best bet would be sign up to a kitcar forum or somewhere where carbs are used more often maybe even have a look in practical performance car magazine they deal with things like this quite often 99% of the cars on here are left efi ;)
Diesel vws audi etc do seem to sell fairly well due to there desent mpgs n comfort. i would say get a 2000 plate corolla like mine, pick em up for around 1k with 70k on them I've had mine 3 years and have spent bugger all on upkeep and it returns 45mpg on a run 37-40 in town, is spacious comfy and handles well on just springs and for a 1.4 goes really well ;)
Mate had one on the windscreen of his rx7 got pulled n was told its illegal he asked the requirements, and it was to size, was reflective and it was visable from infront of the car, so he told the copper to do one haha
A 110hp or 130hp diesel VAG of some description ie golf a3 leon or fabia would be a good option, hold money fairly well and are good on fuel and fairly nippy, dont get the 150hp as they are prone to problems. And this is coming from someone that dislikes vags lol
I havnt had the Plug on my fan switch for over a year as know1 wants to cut up a perfectly good loom to give me there plug haha Its no problem just the fan turns on when it falls off so i know I've no worries of it over heating If u do deside to cut your lil green plug off ill have it though ;)
This is weird as i brought two different n/a cowls which didnt fit my sr but i brought one from a glanza along with all the other interior plastics and the glanza one fitted perfect :s It was from a 98 spec glanza not sure if this makes a difference?
Yeah basically the kit comes with a sheet of carbon and all the resin so you are sticking the carbon over the mirror then a thin layer of resin sand it back abit then a thick layer of resin, which you then smooth over and then gloss up. So theoretically it should look like a carbon part
