I had the same issue with the later soec wishbones without the lip. My arb also caught on some lips in the exhaust tunnel that i had to bend out the way with a bit of gentle persuasion lol

Unfortunately you probably will unless you alloy has clearance cavities on the mating face.

£70 is a very good price. Half a seal kit is £26 and a piston is like £40 on its own i think. I really should get round to rebuilding my spare set lol

Try pushing the rear wishbone mount inward towards the center of the car? That might pull the wheel back a bit if my thinkings correct.

I remember it making the turn in more direct but other that than cant say much as it was so long ago i fitted mine.

As socks said. Coils and lsd for me we the best/most noticable. Good tyres are a must. RARB is personal preference. I didnt notice mine that much but others swear by it. FARB I prefer the stock bar with poly bushed D bushes and drop links. I have tried a 24mm whiteline one and i found on the road i was getting more understeer so took it off and put the stock one back on. The other thing is GEO getting it all setup is also a crucial part, no point having all these bits if none of its been correctly aligned. Also if theyve not been done in a while new ball joints and track rods to tighten up the steering

If youre not sure remove the old bush and leave the metal ring in. If the new bush doesnt fit remove the ring.

Definitely not straight forward, i did a bit of a write up in the alternative engine discussion thread. For it being worth it, yes and no, its a great engine and reasonable power, very suited for my local roads and driving style, plus the sound from the throttles and in an ep70-80 it would be even better as more weight saving. However with the price of the 2zzge and K20 coming down and the lighter weight of the all alloy blocks you get more power and weight savings so i would be tempted to opt for one of them instead.
