  1. Wings look great, you should look at getting some V electric mirrors to help the lines flow a bit more
  2. Classed as Ep85 or ep95 (the 5 at the end of toyota chassis codes denotes 4wd) They are Import only and very sort after so fetch a few pennies. I believe they come as an auto and manual, the manuals fetch more. Id imagine for a 1st car the cost of buying will be a bit to high and then the cost of insuring an import, even if it is a non turbo will still be very high.
  3. Custom halfshalf setup would help a bit to reduce torque steer other than that a redesign of the suspension setup?
  4. It was definately easier wiring in the 20v to the starlet but more work creating the mounts, whereas this is the exact opposite. The 20v bolted in using 1 mount from the corolla the rest are from the 20v so straight swap.
  5. Whats more annoying is that the plugs from the 20v engine loom actually plug straight in! If i had the older 97-99 corolla it would be much more straight forward
  6. Only little bits All fluids are filled, exhaust done earths etc cars back on the floor for the final time hopefully, but the loom is still causing grief. Basically we're going from an obd2 to an obd1/0 and thats causing all the issues. With the same obd a lot of the systems and control circuits are the same or atleast there but with an obd2 the ecu controls a lot more so certain parts of the loom dont exist. This is made even harder not having ecu pinouts and wiring diagrams for the 4zzfe 1.4 corolla, I've spoke to toyota and theyre going to call me on tuesday and im going to try an
  7. What you after? I work with someone who dabbles in it in his spare time.
  8. You after the ball or teardrop type? I dont have either but making you aware they do 2 types.
  9. Contact site admin, either socks or ro55ifumi should be able to help, just bare with them as they can be quite busy at times.
  10. I had a 5 foot scaffold pole over a breaker bar to undo mine back when i did my cambelt the 1st time that shit was crazy tight!
  11. Coming along nicely now youve got some momentum Will you be doing all the mapping yourself?
  12. Typical case of not doing your research before buying a car you know nothing about. Maybe try buying an air compressor next time at least they're designed to handly 2.8bar
  13. In two minds. Bit of a startrek style thing with the remake of the 1st trailer looks good, flipping bus is a bit ott but ill reserve my thoughts till its out.
  14. Having a huge problem sourcing the wiring diagrams for the corolla so wiring is being a royal pain in the ass as it seems the e11 with the 4zz is non existant. Popping to toyota tomorrow for parts so will ask them to see if they can help.
  15. No theres 2 types. 1 where the brake bolts directly to the hub with no carrier The other has a caliper carrier that bolts to the hub and the caliper separately
  16. Welcome, shame about being ran into looked fairly clean otherwise, the Scoobys nice too. Am i right in thinking you dont need front number plates?
  17. I got a mate to get me a 2nd ps4 controller saved £25 on that and didnt have to queue
  18. Should be good fun, Not going to be anything crazy, stock motor bar trd plug leads, Cat back, arrowspeed crank pulley and hks panel filter and the only reason they're being used are because thats all i could get my hands on. Brakes im going to be using either corolla t-sport discs and calipers or i might use levin twinpots instead but will be 275mm however i end up finishing it off. Suspension ill be looking for something like ebiech springs and kyb gas shocks i think. Then i might fit my trueno rear discs and rarb and that would be it, a nice well rounded fast road daily package
  19. Well this weekend this happened. Engine in and all bolted up, halfshalf and driveshafts all fitted, gearcables fitted throttle done, P/S and aircon connected. Wiring loom is going in tomorrow evening then water pipes rad etc followed by fluids. Should be up and running by next weekend at the latest More updates to follow this week.
  20. Yeah you can but check to see if they come with seals as i went from abs to non abs and the non abs ones didnt come with seals so has to buy some separate.
  21. Think your 1st pic needs changing or deleting?
  22. Yes i did, i think its luck of the draw tbh. If you want a good slimline fan look at spal fans not cheap but should last
  23. Im using a cheapy ebay fan on my civic rad had it 6 years and is still going. Get some through rad cableties (have flat pads on either side so not to pull though) Something like this, http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=390768446312&alt=web
