  1. Nice...Let me know how you get on with the fitment of that bonnet
  2. I think they guy that organised it brought Maddox's old car.
  3. Thanks mate looks like the bottom part has been trimmed tho? Thanks mate. Looks good as it's not cut, what's the mark top left tho?? Glue that'll clean off or other ?
  4. Hi all, After an ep91 central dash section that houses the hazard light switch / heater controls etc. After one that hasn't been chopped up to fit a headunit like mine has. Cheers !
  5. Looks good now you've bolted it all up too! Cheers for the info. Think I'll wait a put a weld in in mine.
  6. Brake fluid has arrived and rad back in meaning the wastegate and screamer can be positioned!
  7. NS2R's are fine on starlets even the sidewalls are okay as the car isn't particularly heavy. Same when people say R888's go off quick, yes they go off quicker than an A048R but again, on a light car they are fine. NS2R's are nankang's colin. About £55 a tyre. That said a 195/50/15 AD08 isn't much more.
  8. yes its 19mm, i brought a length of aeroquip hose and used that. What fitting is the bottom of the td04? I've a billet oil return to AN-12 (which is basically 19mm) id let go for not a lot if it would fit!
  9. T1-R's wank Spec2's - decent road tyre in the dry, rubbish in the wet. NS2R's similar to an AD08 half way to a semi, a lot better than the previous two.
  10. Im near MK/Bedford so not local to Windsor but its not a bad drive. Ill be up for it when the cars back on the road.
  11. Thanks mate! No worries, let me know if you need a hand with anything else. Haha mines been off the road over a year now! Im am just about getting the itch to drive it again.
  12. Big shout out to Dean @ RW-Developments for fitting me in this evening to move the bottom rad hose take off on my radiatior! Awesome work, some lovely bits in the shop and genuinely a nice guy to deal with. A couple of pictures.. 13. Looks good! How much was it all in if you don't mind me asking? Im guessing cage & shipping was just over £800 and £112 import so in the 900's?
  14. Looks clean Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Avoid Jperformance manifolds, they are very cheap stainless and will give you more aggro. They crack very easily / quickly. Look at WEPR in the traders section, they are not particularly pricey for a ct9 replacement.
  15. never had an issue with the spray on hammerite on the block
  16. You've obviously got air in the system somewhere if you have a long pedal. Standard brakes are fine with a decent pad / disk and fluid combo. At the end of the day the car weighs nothing so they never need crazy sized brakes. You have to be careful when fitting larger piston calipers / extra piston calipers, they will have a higher CC requiring more brake fluid meaning your pedal could get longer again.
  17. More done today...the list is getting shorter! Finished the exhaust..measured it a good few times and thankfully we've got in bang on Also started fitting the innovate boost solenoid.. Measured all the rear brake lines up so they are on order, then its fitting those and a lot of tidying up! Some pics below.. Lets hope I've got this right..... 18. If your stripping it out why do you want to fill it up with Audio??
  19. Yes old V8's weren't great, diffs chaffed quite badly too, only 80% TB opening due to emissions etc. V10's are different ball games R8 launch is average, initially its not great but when it sorts itself out its not bad. Ive got a video of me launching one some where on an old phone, should dig it out.
  20. What Audi would you compare it too? New R8? If so, and you've driven both - the New R8 lunches it, especially the gearbox. The thing that does let the new car down however is the steering feel.. Even the old cars gearbox is quicker! (S-tron granted not the old old R-tronic's, they were awful)

    Another oil leak

Back of the rocker cover..its hard to see as mines weeping a little there at the moment..Oil seeps between the too covers and gathers at the bottom.
  22. The f-types sound nice thats about it IMO, I've driven a couple and the build is shocking on them unfortunately. Some nice motors there. Guessing your a tech at a Jag/Aston group?
