Getting there If one observes the pics from the previous post & the ones in this post, it can be seen that the tank was turned 180 degrees to take advantage of the contours of the EP82 trunk space. This way, i"ll still have the use of about 80% of the trunk floor space. The filter was easily mounted by making a pair of simple sheet metal straps bent to shape, drilled & then used self tapping screws to hold them down (seeing as the metal is fairly thin). 1/4" nylon hose & wiring from the pump & float switch were run using a 4 core cable from the back of the car t
  4. Nice one there. Agree with u about the wheels. A boost leak tends to give off a squealing sound when on boost as well as you would tend to experience a lower than normal boost condition with a boost leak rather than a bog. But then again, 'bog' is relative. Get her sorted bro...

  8. industrial workplaces are the best. Really lovin the rebuild process, top quality parts list. Love what u did with the front face of the plenum on the intake manifold. I'm guessin u bunged the holes with aluminum welding then had it faced off on the milling machine? U relocatin the IAT sensor to the intercooler pipe, right? Thats exactly what i plan on doin soon. I'm assumin the block is'nt notched as yet in this pic, correct?

Power steering pump washers changed....no leak seen Coolant temp. switch (fan switch) changed....now operates wen it should instead of all the time *** To test the fan switch (those that are closed when cold or open when hot) using a multimeter, the terminal should be continuous to ground when the engine is cold (or if testing in hand, the connector terminal should be continuous to the sensor tip) Strut brace 80% tig welded best mod i did in a while...looks bangin in the engine bay....pics 2morro
  13. With mine, it always leaks unless some silicone is applied either all around or where the manual says silicone should be applied (at the camshaft areas of the rocker cover)
