  8. End of Februari this year I purchased a Starlet Gi lightweight FRP bonnet from ID-Workz. I agreed with the estimated lead time of ~8 weeks. After numerous reminders and asking it finally arrived after 5 (!) months. ID-Workz stated the cause was they were having problems with their supplier. The item arrived with damage, broken corners, deep scratches, dents and cracks. It also did not have the shape and color as was pictured in the advertisement (which has been removed from the website in the meantime). I notified ID-Workz within their 3-days time limit. ID-Workz agreed to have me bring the bonnet to a local repair shop instead of having it shipped back to the United Kingdom as it would end up costing more. I was quoted by my repair shop with a minimum of 100 euro's of additional labour to bring the bonnet to an acceptable condition. It was attempted to repair the bonnet, but it has failed, the bonnet is too much out of shape and fitment is way off. It appears as if the bonnet was taken out of the mold while it was not cured yet, causing it to misshape. It should either be replaced or refunded. In the meantime ID-Workz has been very unresponsive, thus causing my Paypal's buyer protecting to run out because the payment was made in Februari! I feel tricked and scammed, and feel like ID-Workz didnt reply deliberately so they could ensure they would keep their money! I can't believe such a renowned company would offer such bad treatment and I hope we can still solve this problem any time soon.

  12. Lambda is single wire, this must be for cat temperature
  13. You sir, are a hero, I blanked it of instead of running the tube and now my idle sits perfectly at 700 rpm!
  14. Thinking now this might be the answer! Could it be this valve is usually closed and opens to raise idle when steering? I've currently have this tube uninterrupted so it could be causing high idle all the time!
  15. Hi guys, I've got an EP81 with a glanza 4EFTE swapped into it, currently trying to fix a high idle problem. The car passed my countries MOT a while ago and emissions werent too high, also it is doing about 15KM/L so its running pretty good. I've been trying to find the source of this problem for a while now and already did: -replace PN 17630-11050 idle control valve, since the circular spring inside mine was broken -cleaned the throttle body, replaced seals, and set throttle position sensor, idle screw is all the way in -set igntion to 10' before TDC -searched for vacuum leaks, I found a tiny leak at an injector seal so I went out and replaced them all. -cleaned map sensor -replaced ECU water temp sensor -replaced lambda sensor However I am still stuck at around 1500 RPM idle. I was reading the parts catalog and spotted this second idle control valve which I think I dont have on my engine, it seems to go between a tube on the back of the manifold and then to the throttle body. Can anyone tell me what this is and if I should have it?
  16. Whats the thickness of the roll bar in MM?
  17. You could loosen the alternator belt and and run the car for a short time to see if the noise disappears. Alternatively you could hold a long screwdriver against the suspect area and hold the other end against your ear to pinpoint the source of the sound. Alternators going bad is pretty common and new ones are not cheap, if youre not bothered with the work you could replace the bearings of yours instead
  18. Suomi!! what city are you in? nice Glanza
  19. No need for a torch, hold it in your hand by the coldside and tap it with a metal hammer on the hotside round and round, it will slowly start to seperate. Dont ruin it with a screwdriver!
