Im running 150bhp in my gt and i have adl discs on the front with mintex 1144 pads and stock rears. Ive had my rear brakes in bits and replaced a dodgy piston and all the sliders have been out and greased up so the calipers are working well. The front have been replaced at some point too. I use the car daily and i think its a decent setup which doesnt cost much.

this should be helpful for info. http://www.cuscousainc.com/downloads/dl/file/id/190/cusco_lsd_guide.pdf my mates gt has a plated cusco diff its very noisey at slow speeds and tight corners, i wouldnt like it if it was my daily car tbh but it depends what you use the car for i guess. Maybe his could do with being bedded in again it might improve it a bit i dont know.

Just done one for mine, it didnt take long!

My girlfriend ep3 was getting a clunking from the front brakes now and again. When I had a look one of the pistons was badly corroded and rotten inside the caliper. I ended up replacing both calipers. Best thing to do is get them off for a look.

One thing I've learnt from working on the gt4 is that there's alot of metal in them and very over engineered and strong. The fire mostly stuck to the old engine really.
-
cheers mate yeah money pits these things parts are very expensive. heres it running. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NAS8OB9G54

a fire engine eventually got it out! both were believed to be jam units and was even brand new never fitted and in a jam box from japan. they do look different to stock ones slightly. Strange though. I just got 2 big shiney parcels for the starlet

I was in the car when it went up! scary stuff!

The gt4 is a long long storey mate! Its Pickey009 old car which he built it then went to a mate of his and then the engine failed. it sat for a few years then i bought it. Then it set on fire and almost took out my whole garage and has very close to the tank going up. it was a fire engine job. heres the car on its way to me loaded up very carefully! then back in my garage and 2 days later almost everything from the windscreen forward was blown up, melted destroyed ect. Then the rebuild started, i big shout to my mate stee who painted the front end of the car, i

Cheers dale it's a nice colour. Is strange there's so few grey starlets. I don't mind the auto tbh. It does seem a little slower in the lower gears but goes well after that. Is the ct12 the tongs hybrid with td04 internals? What boost you running has it been dynoed?
-
get that boot tidied and the carpet through the washer! Nice braces!
-
Since the last dyno day at TD where the car made 125 bhp i have been wanting to run more boost than the .5 it was running. I did have a brand new actuator which i believed was a jam racing part. I then bought another Jam racing actuator but it was just the same and wouldnt boost past .5 - .6 with the hybrid . I changed a few things round looking for boost leaks but never got anywhere. In the end i fitted a brand new TMD adjustable actuator i had and after lots of messing about the car now boosts up to .8 bar and no hitting fuel cut. I also T'd in the factory high low boost circuit so that stil
