ive never seen a vf34 get anywhere near 400bhp! i think around 320 and there maxed out.

i couldnt say tbh. you would be better getting some advice from people who have actually ran these turbos. maybe state what your hoping to get out of the car? engine spec, any head work? the biggest turbo ive ran was the td05h16g from an evo and only at a bar on a stock 4e. ive got a vf35 on a 5e now though but not on the road yet.

yes they are have the same flanges so long as they are single scroll turbos. twin scolls use different housings.

ive never heard of anyone running one. theres better turbos out there though. if you must stick with the subaru flanged ones check out these heard so many great things about them on the scooby forums!!

so are you going to run the vf34 on a stock engine?

the meister coilovers are a duel perch design. so even on their lowest setting it will still maintain the full travel as you are not compressing the springs to lower the car.

it was a gay 96 spec too, it doesnt have the bigger brakes, better suspension setup, or revised gear ratios like the 98 specs do. the 86 was all over the place on that last corner!! haha

i got asked if my car had been modified, it had a toms kit doobie back end 4.5 inch exhaust with no boxes! haha i told him they all come from japan like this. luckily he never asked to see under the bonnet haha.

just look like late spec seats to me. the only optional interior was the recaro one.

i would get a filter on it if it was me, i dont like the idea that bits of dirt will get sucked in or anything else

ahhh right thanks john, for some reason i always thought the rear diff ratio needed to be changed if the gears were changed. im gutted now as every things back in my car now and ive just got it running again, i cant be arsed taking the box off now lol.

thanks for that john right so it seems ive got this wrong. if i swapped all the gears from a gt box into my ep85 box would my car do the same speeds in the same gears as a gt? or would the gearing in the rear diff need adjusted to suit?

yeah i didnt think the rat catcher is very powerfull really. i thought about upping the power on it abit but as im not using it i haven't bothered

i used to do quite alot of shooting, never really hit much though haha. i lived on a farm years ago and i just had a crappy chinese air rifle but i got a few odd bits like crows if i was really close, got a duck with it once, and a chicken but that was an accident, nearly a dog too lol. i used to like shooting rats at night best but found it really hard as they move so quick and never return to the same place after you kill one somewhere. also had the use of a 16 shot semi auto repeater .22 used to get alot of rabbits with that shooting off the roof of the pickup. i had to use for a shot gun but never bothered with it. got an old black powder shot gun also that doesnt half fire some flames out the barrel! i got rid of my old Chinese air rifle a few years ago as someone offered me silly money for what it was worth. so i bought one of those ratcatchers with a half decent scope on it, i set the scope up and thats about all ive used it for. used to have a laugh hiding under bushes and stuff when the game keeper was checking the grounds haha

what i mean is, if your altering the gears will this not effect the final drive going to the rear diff so the front wheels will be turning at a different speed to the rear ones which would probably end up wrecking the viscous coupling as it would be taking up the strain.

could try a little bit of copper grease on the pipe and just keep twisting it round till it goes on. i have speedvision ones i bought a couple of years ago and they took me ages to get on the first time i fitted them. ive been thinking about getting a load of braided oil and water lines made up as i know a guy who makes that sort of stuff for industrial use and he does a top job.

changing the gear ratios is easy you can just use the gt or glanza internals. what about the back end though enzo?

Out of interest what sort of money are those zoom springs all in delivered to your door. Surely they must be well expensive for just a set of springs. I've got a 2.5 inch system on mine and its very very close over the back axle and mine isnt that low on the back.

are you just using the mesh temporarily or do you plan to leave it like that?

Your cant fit a gt front arb due to it been a different shape because of the prop shaft.

i might be interested in the rear arb. would it include the drop links too or just the actual bar? if its just the bar would it come with the bushes to fit the bigger diameter bar? what about a bigger front arb, as the stock 85 one is alot thinner than a gt one.

i think they look absolutely gash!! they look like something you would see on a 205 in the mid 90's
