  1. he could have got more out of it but he wasn't sure about pushing the wee 1.3 much further. hes a top bloke John.
  2. its a great result i wasnt expecting quite so much out of it, its running loads better now and is an animal on the road. its a great setup not laggy at all. when i was driving it i seen a bar at 4k rpm. it just pulls harder and harder all the way to the red line. yep completely stock engine its a nice fresh low mileage one. i know where im getting mine mapped lol this is the guys website if anyone is interested, he will make or do anything, if you want a twin turbo starlet or anything at all he will make it.
  3. haha fair enough. thats only if there 15's though. do you know what make they are?
  4. can you ask your mate if he wants to sell those wheels daz i think they look quite cool.
  5. thats more like it! good effort
  6. im sure you could manage it daz but i dont mind helping out. what wheels are on that glanza they look cool. theres a few glanzas making there way into cumbria now.
  7. Carl will still be driving round in this beast when hes 200 years old!! he would never sell it.
  8. if you have his address go get your seats back! sorry to hear this mate, its a shame when things like this happen when most people on here just want to help other members out.
  9. whos that handsome lad in that pic? yeah its came along way this car in the last year or so its getting there now. i cant wait to see what power it makes when its been mapped on the vf28 im not sure if it will make 240-250 but i would like to be proved wrong. cant wait to get mine back on the road when this horrible weather has finished. im sure ive got a few pics of the car knocking about i will ratch em out and upload them when i get chance.
  10. removing the viscous coupling with out replacing it with a center diff or something will be asking for trouble im not surprised it snapped a diff as there will be nothing to take up the difference between the front and the back. have you looked at ae86 rear axle enzo there very similar to these and it would be easier to get a disc setup of those sorted than to get a whole new axle. rear discs on starlets are always having problems with calipers seizing up anyway. everyone i know who has a starlet has had rear brake problems with seized calipers ect.
  11. yeah its krissybs inlet. i think we should get our hose friend to make you one up mate he will love it.
  12. believe me most of em dont look like this! haha. nice one daz
  13. how much has it worked out shipped mate i might get one.
  14. Haha, it had to be. I've seen a purple one fade over time and go pale. I dont know if its the heat that did it or weather. Maybe theres something you could put on it to protect it?
  15. A purple tial?
  16. thanks for the quick reply, it will cost a bomb from jap land, i will keep looking.

    defi gauges

I've got boost, water temp, and oil pressure. Mine are the slightly older ones with the white faces and green illumination. There quality bits of kit, they are expensive though. There extremly accurate and the record, play back, warning, and peak features are spot on. How they wire up is really good too. I wouldnt want to be splicing in every gauge seperately makin a rite mess.
  20. great to see this up and running again mate! i always liked this gt i hope that engine holds up! sounds like theres some good parts on it!
  21. Decal Boy Decal Punk
  22. omar what spec are you running with the gt30 how do you find it?
  23. The left tank on the intercooler has the inlet on the back side of the cooler so you get a lovely short piping route off the turbo outlet sparks
  24. looks like a great meet guys, hopefully i will be able to make it down some time. a good selection of different starlets too.
  25. 350 seems a decent enough price to me for 3 inch. so long as its not compression bent anyway. my 2.5 inch system cost alot more than that.
