you will be better off sticking with your wepr one mate. the toyo stuff is cheap rubbish. i seen a ct9 one cracked all over the place the other week and the flange on it that bolts to the head was like a bannana! have you had a straight edge on the flanges on it idrees, are they flat?

I miss all the fun when im at work! :-( Claire said she never felt it.

4x4 mpg isnt as good as the fwd starlets, due to the extra transmission components slightly extra weight, and the fact that you are always sitting higher in the rev range in them.
-
good shops for the starlet parts and accsesories

cam skills prices cant normally be beaten! If they dont stock what your after giv em a ring. Cheap for tires too -
what mike is getting at is that the old flange will have been balanced has a whole unit with the new coupling and the one you fitted will have been balanced as a whole unit to the old coupling. maybe its fine now as its only got a small amount of power going though it so no real strain but if you plan on putting some power though it i would want to get it checked.

camskill mate or just any motor factors like tms part co. the na one is the same so anywhere will do them.

its a great result i wasnt expecting quite so much out of it, its running loads better now and is an animal on the road. its a great setup not laggy at all. when i was driving it i seen a bar at 4k rpm. it just pulls harder and harder all the way to the red line. yep completely stock engine its a nice fresh low mileage one. i know where im getting mine mapped lol this is the guys website if anyone is interested, he will make or do anything, if you want a twin turbo starlet or anything at all he will make it. -

whos that handsome lad in that pic? yeah its came along way this car in the last year or so its getting there now. i cant wait to see what power it makes when its been mapped on the vf28 im not sure if it will make 240-250 but i would like to be proved wrong. cant wait to get mine back on the road when this horrible weather has finished. im sure ive got a few pics of the car knocking about i will ratch em out and upload them when i get chance. -
removing the viscous coupling with out replacing it with a center diff or something will be asking for trouble im not surprised it snapped a diff as there will be nothing to take up the difference between the front and the back. have you looked at ae86 rear axle enzo there very similar to these and it would be easier to get a disc setup of those sorted than to get a whole new axle. rear discs on starlets are always having problems with calipers seizing up anyway. everyone i know who has a starlet has had rear brake problems with seized calipers ect.
