  4. looks like, front mount intercooler forge style blow off valve hks filter is a fuel preasure regulator too wich if im honest would lead me to say it probaly boosts to 1bar (14.5ish psi) and probably has a fuel cut defender stuck on the ecu (behind the glove box) and still has the stock exhuast mani so be careful as that combo = a very quick way to blow up the engine mate. pm me or ask in the tech section if you would like more info on that, would help with some more info, is there a boost guage? if so what does it boost to when you are booting it in say third gear?

  6. phil was gonna take a look into it a while back, basicaly som one has had a falling out with s.k.y insurance and so has changed the forum system is what i heard in the last thread people where discussing it in. is it admin russleh? they should realy know better as ollie from s.k.y is a legend and as i said has done a lot for starlet owners!
  7. cheers guys, not yet ed need to track a loom down tbh gotta sort a custom exhuast first mind as im done with front exits lol far too loud in my old age haha, will defo have the RAY's on by jae and would like to be on coilovers by then but doubt that atm as trying to save for a house and anytime amjad just drop me a txt bud. i need: gt engine loom gt oem ecu coilovers twinpot kit custom exhuast tims guages and then need to fit: ferodo race shoes big spec forged engine vf24 external gated turbo kit powder coated black custom fmic kit alloy civic rad walbro fuel pump roose hose kit polybushed wishbones antilift kit mk1 gt front bumper gt side panels (with gt logos removed) gt rear bumper and then plan the ecu options as i still have a brand new dastek sat here but thinking standalone mapped by the awesome lads at JD modified (builders of jasons buggy and jayep91's mental V) then shes basicaly done, dont want an ott exterior and quite like the sleeper/old skool look

  13. my teins where imense! perfect balance but being jdm they failed after 10k miles as their roads are just sooooo much better than ours. miester are developed for uk roads, cant get better than that tbf.
  14. again as socks said happens to so many, buy starlet, bolt on bigger turbo (99.9% of the time its td04) then fmic, ecu, wind boost up and watch all the other parts fall off! i spent ££££'s on my v with brakes, suspension, renewing bushes, bearings, seals ect before going for power as otherwise you just put more strain on a car and it fails. at the risk of sounding like a cock, you learn from your mistakes, younger owners see bigger powered cars and want the same but you dont realise how much effort realy goes in to high power starlets till you own one. mine took 5years of constant money throwing, research and work. sorting your list shouldnt be too costley but then invest in some decent coilovers, refurb your hubs and it will stop blowing bearings, replace worn bushes ect with polyurathane, theres tons of boaring stuff you need to do if the car is ever gone survive power.

  16. inlet mani is good for around 350 and ist restrictive but a good uprated inlet will reduce spool up times giving far more response, and my mates 200sx runs a 3inch exhust on a gt28 and the difference from 2.5 to 3 inch was noticable straight away as the turbo just felt suffocated by the 2.5 system. nice work matt 470's is a tad excesive for 1 bar mid, so may as well wind it to aroun 1.6 would be rude not too!!
  17. i know, im actualy in love with them!! sneak peak at the volk work GR-N's and one mocked up, not bolted them together yet as i need a few new bolts and im anal and want the proper RAYS ones as they have the logo stamped on lol they are stupid stupid light!! they where origonaly going on the v but after sitting for almost a year i finaly got them refurbed and now the 85 gets to wear them instead.

Yea stripping down the loom is a tad hectic, grants fearless at stripping out and is a mechanic by trade so he dosnt get phased by much tbh, and im a sparky so wires dont bother me to much either. You would be suprised at how much is redundant in the looms, theres been loads come out so far, we will have to weigh it when we are done. @grant, i wouldnt worry about your mrs staying happy, im fairly convinced she thinks we are having an affair as is my mrs lol what with all the time we spend to gether on the various project cars lol

  20. I earn between 16-20k a year wich is rubish for a sparky but theres nothing about so cant go to another company plus i subcontract so when its quiet if i dont work i dont earn! Sucks but thats the world we live in now im afraid most of it goes on bills n debt from when i was young too hence why my v had to go and why my 85 is basicaly stock, got almost everything sat there to mod the life out of it but then the running costs will shoot up so will have to wait for now ;)

I know we have had a fair few convos about cams so glad your happy with the pull i love my speedvision cams tbh!! Espesialy coupled with cruise springs

  24. As the man says, id swap interior and engine looms, with fuse boxes ect, then dump the engine in. Simples ;-) oh best to drop the 4efte or even an uprated walbro pump in as the 2e-e pump may not quite be up to the job. Wont be too hard tbh, shud get it all done in a long weekend if its stripped from the gt n ready to go.
