the 4age arp crank bolts 100% fit i used them in my forged engine i bought them from tm-developments.com as for fly bolts as far as im aware no one makes an uprated set (id have a set already if they did lol) just buy new ones from toyota and rember to use lock tight on em when fitting them in.

rat look would look the tits mate!!!
-
try insuring yours with turbo conversion to see what the difference is?? if its decent just wop a 4efte in yours
-
try elephant dude, and worse case get some one fully comp to drive it back for you and sorth the insurance later
-
in fairness why would you leave stuff like that in a car when sending it some where anyway? and clearly you have alot of dodgey garages around. finding a good honerable garage is no harder than finding a decent pumber ect. id say its paranoide when your talking about swaping gearboxes ect hes not on about pinching change ect is he. i have a quite a few mates working in motor based trades and im a tad offended that people assume they are less honest than a shop worker or whatever. as stated before if your that concerned take it some where else.
-
seriously bud i think you going a tad ott?? I've never ever heard of a reputable company robbing bits off a modified motor.
-
what the actual spec of the engine bud? just read the hole thread. nice build mate. was just a tad curious what size the je's are and also where did you get the copper hg? after one for a build me and a mate are doing.
-
thank fook you carried on!! LOVE this gt, and you of course lew
-
wooooow paranoid much?? my v cost silly money to build and had some crazy ass rare parts on it but if a company has a good rep then do you think they would throw that away for the sake of a few £k's worth of bits of a starlet? considering an audi s6 gear box is prob worth the value of the average glanza and im sure they have probably had one or two of them in. if you trust them that little dont go there simples. but tbh when i used to drop mine places for bits and bobs the workers used to drool over it not eye up what they can rob!

Ah would of been the title change dont get me wrong dude, is nothing wrong with a lumpy idle i love the sound of big camed engines souds awesome imo. And checkout youtube, theres a forge engine build guide buy a greek tgtt member and its very helpful, is about 10 vids in the series but gives you a lot of good info! His name escapes me though im sure you will find it if you have a look

Glad he said brew and not beer lol, could make for some crazy banners if beers involved lol
-
Niiiiiiiice one dude, havnt a clue how i missed this thread! And with the head its the duration of the cams that will make for a lumpy idle bud. The higher the duration the more lumpy it becomes but equaly the longer the valves stay open thus allowing more air in and out on the relavent cycles. Will be interested to see how they perform.

Looking good mike, has come up lovley on the paint work should realy polish mine soon.
-
Pure gent! Txt you tomorrow

Cheers ian, and thanks phil, nothing like a bit of true jdm light weight alloy to freshen up the motor
-
was me asking bud, if you have a look at what the guage reads when you booting it in third or forth then it should give more of an idea of if your running more than stock boost. the standard exhuast manifold has a restriction built into the third runner wich struggles when the boost is raised slowley melting the third piston with a bit more info on the car we can advise you better on how to either a sort it or b if its even an issue. dont mean to worry you in anyway, just is a common thing people arnt aware of when they first buy turbo starlets

paniked for a mo there thought chris's crazy welded seat idea had rubbed off on you lol

looks like, front mount intercooler forge style blow off valve hks filter is a fuel preasure regulator too wich if im honest would lead me to say it probaly boosts to 1bar (14.5ish psi) and probably has a fuel cut defender stuck on the ecu (behind the glove box) and still has the stock exhuast mani so be careful as that combo = a very quick way to blow up the engine mate. pm me or ask in the tech section if you would like more info on that, would help with some more info, is there a boost guage? if so what does it boost to when you are booting it in say third gear?

sweet moves ed, you loving the na poooowaaa?? thought you where going evo next for a main?

phil was gonna take a look into it a while back, basicaly som one has had a falling out with s.k.y insurance and so has changed the forum system is what i heard in the last thread people where discussing it in. is it admin russleh? they should realy know better as ollie from s.k.y is a legend and as i said has done a lot for starlet owners!
