  3. I would be looking at the alternator buddy. Surley you would have a warranty if its fairly new?
  4. Check the connections on your alternator, mainly the earth strap, i once changed my alternator then realising, It was the earth strap that was gubbed Get your tank fully drained, and get a fresh set of plugs in there along with new petrol and injevtor cleaner See how you get on from there
  5. Mine have been open for 3 years now, no issues here. Debris cant get to the bearings, so everything is hunky dory.
  6. You dont need to run the water lines The oil does all the cooling, but obviously after a long run or blat about, give the turbo time to cool down TD04 and 05 bolt to the same manifold and downpipe.
  7. Diffirence betweem the two is, the internal gate is part of the exhaust housing on the turbo, when you run an external gate, the internal one needs blocked off. Its easy to know if you have an exernal wastegate, it will be hanging around the manifold somewhere. Advantages of the ext wastegate, is far superior boost control, a boost controller can be used with one also. Screamer pipe is what vents the exhasut gasses to the atmosphere, once the spring inside the ext wastegate has reached its preset limit, it will start top compress which in turn will open the wastegate, given the wooshing sound.
  8. Its dear because you will have an exclusive day to yourselfs. The TGTT one was cheaper due to being held along side another "normal" track day. £160 isnt bad considering what your getting, ambulance, marshals etc etc
  9. Its easy enough to install a diff, the gear cassette doesnt need to be touched. Common sense prevails when doing it...

  11. Yes there rubbish, gimmick more than anything. 1 last time, CAN YOU GET A SHOT OF AN AFR GAUGE AND SEE WHAT ITS DOING WHEN IT HOLDS BACK?
  12. Could be the fuel filter, how many times have you let the tank run low? Would disregard the fuel, highly unlkely. Can you get a shot of a AFR gauge, just to let you see what its doing when it holds back?
  13. What fuel pump have you got in there? Anyway you can get a shot of a AFR gauge and see what its doing?
  14. Sounds like fuel cut to me, is your boost creeping a little bit?
  15. Cheers for the sizes folks As for the banging, get yourself brand new exhaust rubbers, and see if it still knocks, old ones will be stretched etc Thats the problem most of the time.

  17. Watched this video countless times! Love the way it spins the tubes in 3rd/4th and leaves a couple of darkies on the road.
  18. Its quick for running at Crail ;) remember with no grip, no quick times. ;) Plenty of grunt with it, shows with the terminals. Im sure last time out he beat the silver one at Crail? I mind him telling me he was going 1st, 2nd, 5th just for traction :haha:
  19. Seriously your N/A will be no where close. He doesnt have to be trying to be going 110 mph ;) Only thing on you modification list to give any gains will be the plugs and leads. And thats minimal.

Certainly would be interesting to see a EP whoop one of them, but i cant see it happening any time soon, especially when there clocking 130mph plus over the standing 1/4!   23. Sounds like your ABS working, but it shouldnt work that easy. You possibly have a sensor out. Best way to check, is to whip the ALB fuse out and see how it feels, if theres no "gravel" feeling then obviously its something to do with the ALB system
  24. The RRFPR and FCD wont help with getting power im afraid. But you will be looking at more than 200. I wouldnt get caught up in numbers if were you, its how it goes that counts ;)
