  1. What have you got so far? Including everything you'll have by christmas?
  2. No you'll be fine mate just be careful with it, infact the one to be really careful with is the one on the throttle body, although mine actually broke a bit I didn't bother buying a new one and it was fine.
  3. No, just be careful taking the old manifold off, and you can re use the old gasket.
  4. No mention of the Lexus LFA
  5. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=7afe http://lmgtfy.com/?q=4age+20v had to be done
  6. In a very old episode where James May reviewed the Yaris he mentioned the Starlet as a boring car. 25 mins to go.
  7. 7AFE block, 4AGE 20v head, then add a turbo. There's a fair bit more to it than that but that's the basic idea.
  8. I agree, I've always thought a good 5E with a quick spooling turbo is the best setup for a Starlet. Not much point having 400bhp if you can hardly put the power down. Unless of course it's 4WD but even then a 5E is very capable of producing good power with the right setup. But still, just for the sake of doing it, it would be good to see something silly like a 500-600bhp Starlet.
  9. I nearly fucking shit myself when I read your numberplate. Mine started with R538 and was white aswell and was scrapped a month ago although mine had a spoiler. Welcome to UKSC.
  10. It's on at 9 I think.
  11. Haha I always thought of doing a meet like that as there are quite a few skaters on here. I always used to think it would be great when I got a car for being able to travel to skateparks and stuff but by the time I was driving I was out of skating.
  12. Haha are you lot talking skateboarding or rollerblading? I used to rollerblade.
  13. I've been looking into clutches lately just out interest but got a few questions that I can't find the answers to. I'd say I'm quite clued up on engines and have a bit of knowledge on suspension but one thing I've never really looked into is clutches. I already had a general idea of how they work and I've found plenty of info on that, but not really anything on the clutches themselves or the different types, so I've got a few questions regarding different types of clutch and things like that so hopefully someone can answer them. - What are the springs for in clutches and why do some clutches have them while others don't? - What's the whole idea behind paddle clutches, why do they have "pucks" rather than a full disc, which looks like less space for friction but is actually rated to higher power? It would make sense to have more material = more friction, but obviously not? I'm assuming the material has a much higher friction rating than a normal clutch. - What's the thing with having more/less pucks? As far as I can see the more pucks you have the easier it is to use, and the ones with less pucks are more race orientated? - I'm always reading that paddle clutches aren't much good for town driving and will wear out quickly if you try to use them the same way as a normal clutch, why is that? There are still a few people using paddle clutches on their daily drivers so surely they can't be that bad? I'll probably add more later if I can think of anything.
  14. Let me know when you've got those sigs made mate.
  15. Well didn't they get rid of the last one because of a "leaked identity" and now they've given away who this one is lol.

That's wrong my mate did one of these courses but he was only a few mph over the limit. And he's been driving less than 2 years.
  17. For those who don't know it starts again tomorrow. I'm hoping they'll have something about the Lexus LFA in this season.
  18. What are those wheels like weight wise? You've got them on your track car so they can't be that bad? But I've always thought (along with loads of other people) that Wolfrace were "halfords shit". How do they compare in quality/weight/price to Rotas for example?
  19. Did he or you mention anything about advertising your site on here? If there aren't any trader spots I can't see there being any problem to advertising your shop here and then when a trader spot frees up sell stuff in the trader shops section aswell.
  20. Green stuff are like £60 anyway so I wouldn't say it's a "waste". I can't actually speak from experience on upgraded brake pads but brakes are definately an area that need attention with the N/A. Once I had upgraded my suspension aswell as the usual Corolla manifold/air filter mods the brakes were a massive let down. Could have driven so much quicker if I didn't have to allow for such a long braking distance all the time. Just because it's a non turbo don't assume that having good brakes isn't neccessary. On a track you could make up alot of time with a good brake setup (as you don't have the power to go quickly so you need to make use of what power you do have). But it's all down to the sort of driving you do if it's just general road/speed limit use I wouldn't go ballistic.
  21. That FC isn't bad either.
  22. I'm outside now mate but your doorbell don't fucking work

How did you get caught? Did you get anything for it? If you get caught you aren't doing it right.
  24. Your mate is a moron and has just wasted his money.
