Your mate is a moron and has just wasted his money.

From a 2.0 liter are you having a fucking laugh? Toyota were getting more power than that from a 2.0 more than ten years ago. Ok the Fiesta might have a chance if it was a "top speed" race but 0-60 the Starlet kills the ST.

That's a great joke mate you got any more?

What Would you Have To Do To Make Glanza Jaw Droping Quick

He might be racing on a track. -
What filter is that?

I'm in favour of having Tim as a trader on here, if it makes any difference, as we don't have anything Starlet related local in the West Midlands and Tim's work is top notch.

4afe 7afe, The New N/a Conversions

Which brings it back to the point of doing all that work and spending all that money you could just buy a 4AGE/whatever other engine in the first place. I'm not shooting down the idea of doing something different. It just doesn't seem a worthwhile choice when you go through all the effort for a small gain and then you have to tell people that you have a 1.6/1.8 with less than 120bhp? That's even worse than a Peugeot for fuck sake. Yes you could tune it, but by the time you've spent some money you could have bought a 4AGE/4EFTE anyway. -

The 4AFE/7AFE produce shit amounts of power for their size. I wont mention 4AGE as it's already been said but you could put a 20v head on the 7AFE block, then it would be worthwhile. -
Don't waste your money that manifold will crack.

I love the 2ZZGE, would be good to see one with ITB's. Who needs VTEC when there's VVTLI? -
Cheap Starting Mods For A Non Turbo Starlet Ep91
ste91 replied to Nate's topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
I'd agree with the majority of that, however even though the power tails off at around 5500rpm with the basic Corolla manifold/air filter mods I still found it better to take it near the redline rather than changing gear early. Going by someone's dyno graph (can't remember who it was, I saved it a long time ago) the peak torque was around 4k and changing gear near the redline puts you near 4k rpm. Which is straight back onto the powerband. -
Corolla 4efe 89bhp? Fit Its Ecu To Your Starlet!
ste91 replied to rmsnoel's topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
I've read somewhere about this being done but the car wouldn't start. Something to do with the immobiliser or something like that. -

I don't know about anyone else but I wouldn't be able to fit a 4AFE knowing I could use a 4AGE. Same for the 7AFE, I'd be too tempted to drop a 20V head on it lol. -
How much did this cost you to buy? Or what's the rough price of a decent condition CRX?
-
Sorry did I say get out? What I actually meant was: get your tits out
-
get out
-
Where did you get that lower spoiler? And do them the same colour as the car it will look better instead of black.

I like it above the bar aswell, and I think you should put the fog/reverse lights there too. It almost reminds me of Supra rear lights.

We know how it is

It does make quite a difference. -
Just take the airbox off and measure the pipe.

It's not just the fuel though if you drive hard, I trashed a pair of Toyo Proxes T1R's in under 4 months. That's around £100 so £25 a month.
